We came to Vancouver for a family visit and could not have been luckier to stay at Haddon House. It was beautifully appointed, well stocked and centrally located to our needs. Our hosts, Johannes & Marie-Louise were delightful and most helpful. The proximity to Deer Lake was a bonus for lovely walks and biking. All in all, a top notch experience.

“Home away from Home”
Glad to have picked this heritage building as our first holiday rental in Canada. It's situated in a quiet neighbourhood yet minutes away from Deer Lake and Metro Town in Burnaby. Just convenient. Spaciously accommodated six of us, the house was well maintained with lovely landscape - a pleasure to enjoy in rain or shine. The kitchen was generously stuffed with supplies. No need to replenish during our one-week stay. Regret we couldn't have a longer vacation here for the autumn leaves. We did enjoy our morning walk at the trail around the Deer Lake nearby. Many thanks to Johannes & Marie-Louise for sharing this quality home with us!
“Homely with all modern conveniences”
We experienced great hospitality during our stay at Haddon House. The home is lovely, with a lot of history, and in a great setting. Although we stayed only a few nights, we felt most welcome, especially with the fridge and cupboards full to feed us all after lengthy travels. We so appreciated it.
