Casa Del Arbol Cantando (“House of the Singing Tree”) is a beautiful 3-bedroom luxury condo on the peaceful Mexican Riviera, less than a 10-minute walk to Playa La Ropa, with a spectacular view of dreamy Zihuatanejo Bay from two terraces, both facing the bay and graced with many tropical plants and outdoor seating.
Completely renovated by husband & wife designers, this spacious 3 bedroom apartment, with 3.5 baths was crafted by some of the finest local artisans, using rich local woods, handmade terra cotta tile & fine stonework. A brasilia tree dramatically centers the entry stairway, rising up two floors.
With almost 3,000 square feet, the luxurious Casa Del Arbol Cantando is ideal for entertaining or just relaxing – perfect for 3 couples or a family. The fully-equipped kitchen with gas stove, has a lovely view of the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains. Bottled purified water is provided.
Although the tropical breezes along with ceiling fans in every room are usually more than enough for you to be completely comfortable, all rooms are air conditioned. Every bedroom has a king bed with 400-thread count all cotton linens and its own bathroom with rain showers & smooth pebble floors. The master bedroom and bath both have gorgeous bay views.
Mood lighting enhances the magic that nightfall brings. Have a cocktail on the terrace at sunset, and watch the twinkling lights of the town, or, as we like to say, “the glowing embers of Zihuatanejo.” The canopy of stars overhead and the sound of the waves add to the enchantment. Let music soothe your soul with our custom sound system. A beautiful new rustic pergola roof has recently been added for your outdoor dining enjoyment. It is open enough to allow filtered light and adds a romantic new outdoor space to enjoy. From May to November it is covered to protect from the occasional shower. You can always eat outdoors!
Here at Punta Marina Condominiums there is a lovely pool (large enough for laps) fed by a man made waterfall, as well as off-road, covered parking, daily maintenance & 24-hour security. A taxi can arrive in about 5 minutes to take you to a myriad of fine restaurants of every range. The center of town is just about 10 minutes by cab for 50 pesos (under $3 US); Ixtapa with its nightlife about 20 minutes, and the airport, 20.
Our very nice housekeeper Gloria comes on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays. She can also make a lovely Mexican breakfast on those days for a small charge, with notice. (Note: She speaks only Spanish.) AC is $25/day extra during the Green Season; all other times, included.
Our excellent driver Luis can pick you up and return you the airport, town or other sites, for a reasonable rate, as well as take you on guided tours to other tourist attractions.
