Setting the highest standard, this luxury beachfront home, The March House, oozes understated luxury, taste and style and looks onto a beautiful peaceful beachfront and garden setting within an almost “private” bay.

Well known in the area, this house is located in the charming beach town of Mal Pais and Santa Teresa, within easy reach of restaurants/shops/banks and nightlife.

About The March House...

The March House was designed to take advantage of its location at the beach, in a small bay, set within 2 1/2 acres of mature gardens. The ocean is right there on your doorstep you can almost touch it. With a modern minimalist design mixed with beautiful tropical hard woods, this large house is the epitome of style and comfort with lots of space. When the doors are opened up towards the ocean it really brings out the feeling of "inside meets outside". Immediately this feeling brings relaxation and peace, such is the tranquility of this place

The house has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms at your disposal set out as follows:-

Large master bedroom occupying the entire upstairs, ocean view king size bed, lounge/den area, large bathroom with double shower, large tub, WC, double vanity and double closets

Two ocean view bedrooms, each with queen size bed, sharing a large bathroom with double shower, double vanity, WC and double closet. Hammock hanging outside each room.

Bedroom 4 has 3 single beds, garden view, WC and shower

Half bathroom/WC on the downstairs landing

Note: For groups up to 11 people we can offer the seperate Master Guest suite which can be rented at extra cost. Please inquire if you need this suite too.

**Large Master guest suite, w/own entrance, ocean view, king size bed, shower, tub, double vanity, WC, mini fridge, coffee maker and kettle, private outdoor patio area with hammock, two recliners, coffee table, two chairs and umbrella.

**All beds have quality mattresses with luxury cotton linens and comfortable pillows

Utilizing all 5 bedrooms/suites the house sleeps 11 persons in perfect comfort.

Large living area with two lounge areas, open plan fully equipped kitchen and dining area

Outdoor covered "Rancho" for al fresco dining or lounging on the two daybeds. Several hammocks between trees for "hammock time"!

The house has WiFi throughout.

It also has an electronic safe large enough to accommodate several laptops and iPads etc

A security guard is present on the property from 6pm to 6am.

The March House was designed for natural airflow and cross breezes therefore AC is not really needed.The rooms are all large with high ceilings. No trapped hot air here. Each bedroom has a great ceiling fan if needed for cooling, as too there are fans in the living and kitchen areas.Temperatures can vary between 25-30 degrees Celsius depending on the time of year.

On most days our Howler Monkey and White Faced (Capuchin) monkey friends usually visit, hanging out in the trees. A real treat to watch them.

Getting around

Getting around... Usually the preferred and most practical way is by rental car. This stretch of coastline with many things to do and see stretches for around 15km, so exploring by car is the best option. In town its easy to rent an ATV quad for anything from hours to days too. ATVs are great to explore up in the hills and mountains where its cowboy and cattle country There are push bikes to rent also.

We can help with any advice on things to do in the area, recommend good restaurants (reserve for you too!), arrange cars or ATV's Even if you want to have tours (horse, fishing, Zip lining, ATVs to remote beaches) arranged just let us take care of it, then arrive and enjoy. We are here for you to be there for you as much or as little as you wish. Over the years we have built a solid reputation which is why our guests come back time and again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Yan (the owner) a message.

If Yan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
