We had a delightful week at this condo. The location on the beach was gorgeous! We were very happy with the condition of the unit; it was clean, had plenty of space for our family of four, and the ocean breezes kept us cool. The Casita Blanca complex was well maintained and felt secure, but only the unit's back windows had bars - so we felt we had to close the others at night. We loved having the beach and pool steps away. The walk to town was easy, and well worth it to try out the many restaurants and shops Puerto Morelos has to offer. We were there during Holy Week, and the town and beaches were hopping. We can't wait to visit this little gem of a spot again.
“Best vacation ever!!!”
Of all the places we have traveled, the beach of Puerto Morelos is the best we ever experienced. The quaint restaurants and friendly people of this small community made us feel like family. Dr. Steve's accomdations at Casita Blanca, simply put, made our trip perfect. We look forward to returning again and again.
“Excellent facility and location”
What a fabulous surpise. The condo was spotless, located walking distance to town and right on the beach. That and the pool (which was always empty) made us feel that we owned the entire facility. I strongly recommend this rental for any family
“Great place with all the amenities we wanted”
We had a wonderful stay at Casita Granada over Xmas. It was the perfect size for me, my husband, 3 year old and my brother. The apartment itself is quite nice, with comfy furniture, a well-appointed kitchen, two bathrooms, a grill and all the beach toys we could want. But the highlight is definitely the steps-away access to both a sweet pool and the beach! The town of Puerto Morelos is nice, too - very laid back, and we were glad to have so many bars and restaurants in walking distance. Highly recommend this place.
“Great Location and great condo”
Steve's place is wonderful. The condo is in a safe and secure complex and the view from the many little patios/decks is just beautiful. Fully equipped and clean, the pool area and garden is well taken care of. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms with the extra living/tv room was enough room to house a family. Only problem we had was with the safety deposit box (problem was eventually solved) and the DVD player did not work after the first few days and was not replaced.
“Getting away from it all! Here you go: Paradise!”
I have stayed at this condo and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Every moment of your stay, you could hear the calm waves of the ocean and feel the warmth of the sun. You couldn't ask for a better location; the town was within walking distance, yet the resorts were reasonably spaced out enough if you wished to avoid tourist traps and crowds. The unit's location is the most sought-after property within the building if you need your personal space. The interior is very spacious and has a familial feel to it. This is definitely the place you're looking for; I highly recommend it. All you need is a good book and a glass of red and consider yourself in paradise.
“A perfect vacation”
Life is a beach, and in this case a perfect one. Everything was great: the weather was fabulous, no crowds or beach-side vendors, a massage on the beach, inexpensive food at local restraunts, pleasant friendly people, easy access from the airport to a local rental car firm. What more could one ask? Oh yeah, inexpensive accommodations at Casita Blanco! Very well furnished unit with all the amenities. No Cancun here!
“Casita Granada Heaven”
Casita Granada is not for everybody. If you enjoy having a bunch of 20-something year olds waking you at odd hours by yelling and throwing things off the balconey, you will not enjoy this villa. If you like listening to traffic noise and watching cars, motorcycles, and buses zipping down the boulevard, this one is not for you. Or if you like being pounded by big breakers on the beach and struggling to avoid being swept away by an undertow, forget about this place. Also don't come here if you need the stimulation of hundreds of people on the beach and the convenience of being able to buy your cheap jewelry, serapes, corn rows, hats, kites, and what have you from an army of peddlers who patrol the sand. On the other hand, if you value beauty, quiet, tranquility, near-empty beaches, fabulous views, the joy of a 15 minute stroll down to a quiet little village loaded with fine resturants where you might be one of only a few like-minded patrons, this is probably where you need to be. And if, like me, you prefer to throw the catch of the day onto your own barbecue grill while preparing your own pico de gallo that you make from fresh provisions from the local mercado, in a fabulously appointed and well-equipped kitchen, and whipping up your own pina coladas with your own fresh fruit while watching the soft ocean swells out the living room windows, here is the place. Need to snorkle out to a breathtaking reef right from your front door? This is it. Want to watch the local kids play in the town plaza while listening to a mariachi band practicing in the bandshell while you eat the locally made ice cream? You got it. Don't come here if you need an "all-inclusive" or enjoy paying outrageous resturant prices. Don't come here if you like crowds. And don't come here if you are not looking to relax in the finest condo, surrounded by the most wonderful setting imaginable. Otherwise, Enjoy! You won't regret it!
