Blue Heron Tide Seaside Cottage is a 4-bedroom, 4-bath cottage directly on the shore in Acadia's "Quiet Side." With a large kitchen, dining, and living room with a bonus antique oak, claw-foot game table, screened-in porch, and oversized cottage-style windows to maximize the view, you can enjoy the comforts of home while enjoying the ocean view. There is a bonus reading alcove upstairs and a full gaming and recreation room downstairs with ping pong and direct access to the patio and grill. Blue Heron Tide offers you an opportunity to sample Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, lobster, chowder, dining out, boating, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, ocean and freshwater swimming, hiking, walking, bicycling, blueberry picking, birding, garden touring, shopping in quaint boutiques in Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Northeast Harbor, and more - or just get some quiet relaxation and reading time in your cozy oceanfront cottage. While Blue Heron Tide is a 4-bedroom, 4-bath house, neighboring Acadia Sunset Seaside Cottage is a 3-bedroom, 3-bath house. Rent the cottage that best suits your party, or rent them together as a family compound. Both cottages are well suited to accommodate multiple generations or a small group of friends with comfortable common areas as well as separate bedrooms and living spaces that enable you to access quiet time and preserve your privacy.
You can enjoy any of several cozy nooks to settle in with a good book. Or play ping pong with friends or family on a day at home. At the Seaside Cottage, you are surrounded by gorgeous sunsets that you can enjoy in your private screened-in porch every evening. And you are steps away from your own private stretch of beach, where you can put in your own canoe or kayak, beachcomb for shells and sea treasures, or simply enjoy the view out to Maine's famous island-dotted shore, with the Nature Conservancy's Placentia Island in the distance, and Swan's Island just beyond. You are less than five minutes' drive from the Acadia National Park trails called Wonderland and Ship's Harbor, which bring you out to gorgeous rocky bluffs along the open ocean and Maine's famous rocky coast. A minute more and you're at Bass Harbor Head Light, the most photographed lighthouse on the U.S. East Coast. In five minutes you’re in Southwest Harbor with ample opportunities for shopping, dining, and boating; in two more minutes you’re hiking Acadia Mountain or swimming in Echo Lake; and in ten minutes you're in Bar Harbor, with its quaint shops, restaurants, whale watching, naturalist boating, sailing, deep-sea diving, Park tours, and many other opportunities.

If Joy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
