“Viva La Villa!”
I was truly impressed by Villa Encantada. We were treated to five-star service and luxury accommodations. The gorgeous tropical setting was the final element of an amazing experience. It was paradise! We were able to enjoy all of the conveniences of home during our stay, including wi-fi. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Encantada to friends and family.
“Perfect Luxury Getaway!”
I can not say enough good things about this place. From the very first moment you step in, the beautiful open air home welcomes you. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. Theres plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The beds were honestly the softest beds I have ever slept in and the views of the ocean you get to wake up are breathtaking. As if the house wasn't perfect enough, the staff really gives you the cherry on top. Walter (Diablo) is an amazing chef and an all around happy guy to be around. Every dish he made was delicious and we would always have leftovers to munch on later in the night. I highly recommend his chile relleno! Rene the houseman was also amazing. He would always be available to us, even if he wasn't in the house. He arranged all our cabs to go into the city, gave us amazing deals and recommendations on what to do around PV (Marietas Islands, ziplining,..). Isabelle was an angel. We woke up to an amazingly clean house every day and never went without fresh towels. All in all, this villa is perfection and I would highly recommend it to anyone! A+, five stars all around!
“Villa Encantada is a DREAM”
So when booking Villa Encantada, I found out that means "dream" in Spanish. Wow, the villa and its staff live up to its name. I still dream about our chef, Walter's, Mango Crepes for our breakfast and his specialty salsas through out the day. Rene, our houseman, arranged luxurious massages. The prperty is well decorated and very comfortable for large or small groups. A great stay with a great staff. I will dream about the day that I can return to this lovely, enchanted place.
“I would have stayed a month instead of five days if I could have”
One of the things that I like best about the villa is that everything opens to the outdoors. There are many places to gather with friends, however, there are places to lounge and read and be alone, or have a massage. The staff is WONDERFUL!!!!! They will help you with whatever you need. We found that we wanted to eat at the villa because it was very relaxing and the food was excellent and fresh. To start the day, we had mango crepes twice. There was always food leftover from the dinners so that we could snack during the day. It is a nice walk into town. There is a shortcut down some steps that takes you to the central shopping area. Because it is all downhill it is a fun walk. When we were done in town, we took a taxi back to the villa. Oh, and those margaritas that you can have waiting for you along with fresh guacamole and pico de gallo and freshly made tortilla chips, always served with a smile. There are beautiful views from most areas in the villa of town and the ocean. If you don't like it here, I would suggest you stay home.
“Villa Encantada is heaven on earth!”
Being a bit stressed from a heavy work/travel schedule, this respite is exactly what the Dr. ordered. I needed a place where I could get away and just catch my breath. This was definitely the solution. The villa is gorgeous. There are five different bedrooms. Most have a view of the ocean. They are all beautifully appointed with lovely artwork and en-suite bathrooms with walk in showers. It is so quiet and the pool and hot tub allow for time to relax and not feel the need to go or do anything. Of course, town is not far and provides a nice walk for those inclined. As to the staff, one cannot say enough. Walter the chef is an artist. His meals and appetizers are incredible. As to his guacamole, I just wanted the bowl to myself and a spoon, although the homemade tortilla chips worked nicely! Isabelle, takes care of all of your house keeping needs, making your bed daily, cleaning everything and even washing your clothes if needed!!!! Renee is a wizard. If there are anythings that are needed as to the workings of the house he is Johnny on the spot. He was there each day helping Walter in the kitchen and also serving our meals. Villa Encantada is the place to go if you are traveling to Puerto Vallarta. Don't miss this absolute gem.
“The Villa and view is gorgeous, the staff amazing, food was superb..you won't want to leave the villa.”
This is truly a 5 star accommodation. The staff does absolutely everything to make your stay perfect...from margaritas that greet you, arrange taxis and reservations and massages (on the top floor, overlooking the ocean!), purchase that special tequila you heard about, prepare whatever you choose from the extensive menu, supply great wines for the meals, keep the villa absolutely clean and tidy and the gardens lush (think bananas hanging in the poolside sculpture garden and 5 foot birds of paradise in the living room!) , The owner is an artist and this is apparent in the decor...beautiful local woods for the doors, cabinets and windows, and local glass art, paintings and sculptures complement the Spanish Colonial style. While the food is AMAZING, it is inexpensive; the staff keep a running tab of groceries and drinks for you, you just tell them what you want. Our bill for food and drinks for the entire week was ridiculously low....per person for the week, less than a night out for 2 in the US. You are pampered beyond belief! While PV is a happenin' town, the serenity here makes this the ideal getaway. You may find yourself wanting to spend all your time at this relaxing beautiful Villa. I plan to return with my family SOON.
“Villa Encantada Has It All!”
Our family vacation couldn't have been better. Paul was incredibly helpful and attentive in planning. Walter, Rene, and Isabel are so warm, fun, knowledgeable, and hospitable as they go about the preparation of awesome foods, assisting in planning activities, or quietly cleaning around 8 adults and 2 children. The villa, with it's large, beautiful bedrooms, the pool, and wonderful indoor/outdoor dining and living areas, made being home as wonderful as experiencing the culture, beaches, and attractions in PV. Perfect setting for all different groups of friends and/or families! Given the opportunity, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!
“place was perfect for the 5 couples that went. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom which is very important!”
Just wanted to say the place was perfect for the 5 couples that went as well as if a family had rented it. Very clean, each room had a bathroom/shower and plenty of space in the bedrooms. Loved the open backyard with pool and hot tub. Location to the city was a nice walk and put you right down on the beach where you want to be. The help at the house was great, they did it all, cooked, shopped, cleaned and took care of all of our needs! Would highly recommend this place and would stay here again!
“Beautiful Villa with great staff in Puerto Vallarta”
Overall, it was a fantastic vacation in a beautiful property that exceeded our expectations and we cant wait to stay there a second time. The staff was wonderful, Rene and Isabel catered to any needs we had and Walter cooked absolutely fantastic meal after meal for adults and kids. Initially we wanted to stay in a beach front property but PV has so many different beaches to visit that it actually made more sense to make the Villa our HQ and try to visit as many beaches as we could ( I highly recommend nahui by the way). If you are looking for a unique vacation for a large group in PV, I highly recommend Villa Encantada.
“BEST VACATION EVER”
We couldn’t have stayed at a better place for our family vacation in Puerto Vallarta! Villa Encantada was everything we could’ve hoped for and more! First off, from the beginning, Paul (the Owner of the Villa) was very accommodating and had great suggestions which played a vital role in planning the best vacation for us all. He made sure we were taken care of and that all of our requests were in order. Communication was a breeze! As we were driven up the cobblestone street we immediately recognized our villa as we anticipated visiting it for months prior to arrival. We had a large party and it accommodated all of us comfortably. The Villa is beautiful! Most of our nights were spent playing card games on the kitchen table, dominos on the patio, going night swimming, listening to the exotic birds from the jungle adjacent to us, looking at the views, and watching fireflies off the balcony or outside our bedroom windows. The views were truly exceptional. Our days were spent outside the villa, but after a long day of shopping, sight-seeing, activities, etc., we couldn’t wait to get back to the comfort of Villa Encantada and Walter’s mouth-watering dinners. Our rooms would be clean and fresh, and our clothes would be washed/ folded for us thanks to Isabel. Walter and Rene would always be ready for our party with drinks and good humor. We even celebrated a very memorable birthday while we were there. Walter and Rene are the biggest pranksters, they always surprised us and we couldn’t stop laughing whenever they were around. Rene had the best recommendations for activities and arranged everything for us including our transportation which was always very prompt. He even helped get us some great prices on Coheba Cuban cigars. Every morning we would wake up to the smell of some kind of wonderful food cooking in the kitchen and coffee waiting for us on the poolside patio… THE FOOD: We loved EVERY single meal we had! The food was absolutely amazing! Some of our favorites (just to name a few) were the chili verde, mango crepes, coconut shrimp, bacon-wrapped shrimp, enchiladas and pozole. Walter is the best. Additionally, we had THE BEST burgers we have ever tasted, compliments of Walter (a.k.a. El Diablo). MOST IMPORTANTLY, and what truly made our stay memorable, was the hospitality and friendship of Walter (El Diablo), Rene and Isabel. They are truly wonderful people whom we came to love! We were literally in tears when we left because we had all become so attached. We truly felt as though we loved them as much as they loved us! We will always remember our time at Villa Encantada and the wonderful memories made with each other!
