WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS LONGER THAN ANYONE AT THE COMPLEX... FULLY AIR CONDITIONED. A truly spectacular Over Water Home! The only bungalow out of the five with it's own private walkway! Now with extra housekeeping available, as well as "Special catered in bungalow dining" (Must be booked well in advance)! COMPARE OUT RATES TO THE RESORTS. The Black Pearl on Bora Bora is the most beautiful privately owned over water home in French Polynesia! Every detail is exquisite, truly, a five star Over the Water bungalow. We have a brand new state of the art Kitchen, a CA King sized bed with sitting area in the bedroom, full air conditioning, a 40 inch flat screen with a home theater system and DVD player, Stereo system that is iPod ready. High speed internet and wifi, Satellite with ESPN, CNN NEWS, etc. Bathtub, Walk in shower. Double Kayak! This is a luxurious as it gets. A gorgeous covered terrace, overlooking the lagoon and palm tree-covered islands, just a few hundred yards away, is fully furnished with quality outdoor furniture and gas barbecue. Here you can enjoy many wonderful hours -- reading a good book, marveling at the natural beauty of the area, or just doing nothing. If you wish to take a dip in the warm waters, nothing could be simpler. Just go down four steps on your private dock and dive in. Right there you can snorkel for hours, check out the thousands of colorful fish in and around the coral reef, or just lie on the beach under a palm tree, while sipping a Tahitian punch.

Response from the owner I am truly surprised that you gave us a 4 star review. It sounds like you had a great time in The Black Pearl. The entire bungalow was remodeled last year. It is our home when we are there and we are extremely proud of the value we offer for the price. To find anything near the quality of The Black Pearl you would need to pay thousands of dollars a day. The cleaning was taken care of by Nir our manager when you mentioned it. I have already requested he buy a new blender. There are large towels in the bungalow. We don't like to spray too often for bugs and because you are in the tropics, that is hard to control, but we do out best. You failed to mention that you used your points with Euro-car and that is why you received that rate. Nir has three late model cars for our clients only and offers the lowest rates on the island. I, as owner have nothing to do with the rental cars. Again, I am sorry you felt the need to give us 4 stars instead of 5, I truly believe it was unwarranted.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Richard (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
