Our thanks to Dana and Scott, Crystal Sands is EXACTLY as advertised. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with our family and Crystal Sands was perfect! Beautifully maintained and located on an amazing beach, made us want for nothing but more time!! Thank you both again, Crystal Sands is a magical place!!! Bob and Eileen Gauld

“Best place to stay”

My wife and I have been to many of the islands and we have to say that T&C is the best. This belief of ours is mainly due to Dana and Scotts accomendations. They are great, the house is great! This last trip our flight was delayed arrived late in the evenig. Gettign ahold of Dana was easy and she made it even eaiser for us to check in late. We could not ask for anything more. Both my wife and I are neat freaks. The accomendations live up to our standards. I would HIGHLY recommend, if traveling to T&C, that you give Crystal Sands a try. You will NOT regret it.

“Best Vacation Ever”

My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay at Dana and Scott's beautiful home the last week of July. Dana and Scott are caring hosts who genuinely want to insure that their guests have a great stay at their home. My wife and I stayed on the ground floor and we couldn't have asked for more from a rental property. The home was provisioned with everything that we would want in our own home if we were lucky enough to own a home on the beach on Provo. The furnishings were in excellent condition and comfy. We swung in the hammocks several late afternoons after being on the beach all day, cooked dinner several evenings on the oversized Weber grill, and ate most of our meals on the elevated porch looking out at Sapodilla Bay. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and impeccably maintained. And the beach is one of the most beautiful that we've seen in our travels all over the Caribbean. The water is turquoise blue, warm and shallow and the waves are generally less than 6 inches high. We encountered very few people on the beach. Dana & Scott have thoughtfully created areas of shade on the beach so that my wife and I could spend the entire day there without getting burned. Other than a fine selection of restaurants for dinner, there not much else to do on Provo. So, my wife and I were happy to laze our days away with a cocktail in our hand on Scott's and Dana's beach. By the way, if you like St. Croix, we have also stayed at Scott & Dana's beautiful home there.

“Simply Paradise”

We arrived on the Saturday and met with Dana at the property where she explained everything we needed to know and made some suggestions. Very very nice a helpful couple through the whole process in booking and departure!!!!! We stayed on the ground floor with my wife, 3 year old son and brother and sister inlaws. It was very convenient for us as our son is very active and was able to run outside to the pool or beach easily. The layout in the house is perfect, clean and has everything you would need. No need to bring rafts or toys for kids such as pails and shovels as they are located under the stairs going up to the second level. We chose to leave the ones we brought. We suggest going to the IGA located on Leeway Hwy near the RBC which is easy to get to and only about 15 min away. It's a one stop shop for everything you need. Being on an island things are more expensive but that should be expected. As for alcohol it is more expensive but being from Canada it is similar in price to what we pay except for beer. As for the island itself we toured everywhere with our rental car just get get a better idea of what is out there. Without question we found our place to be the nicest. As someone else said the pics don't do it justice. The beach is simply unbelievable and we really miss it. The water is so clear and from a distance the colour is amazing. The calmness of the water allows you to float all day long while holding your refreshment. But you should go visit the other beaches just to appreciate what's on your front step. We will definitely be coming back and WILL be staying at Crystal Sands. Great people who take care of the people who work for them. Will

“Best Vacation Yet”

After reading all of the great reviews about this villa, they didn't do it justice. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and met Dana and Scott. What a great couple - they were there to answer all of our questions. Dana called on Monday morning to ask if we had questions then came back to visit with us before we left for the airport the following Saturday. The villa was lovely, both inside and out, spacious enough for 2 couples. We spent most of our time on the beach because that's what we like to do for relaxation. To our surprise, there are coolers in a closet which was nice to pack up and take down to the beach. The turquoise colored water is just that - beautiful and the fine-white sand underfoot was perfect. Each day we commented on what a beautiful place it is and how we couldn't wait to come back. After a week of being home - we did just that - booked again for next year. All of the restaurants we visited were excellent - we ate 3 times at Las Brisas, once at Hemingways at The Sands (awesome Hot Lobster Pasta!!), and once at the outdoor beach restaurant at Sevens. One day we went over to Grace Bay and walked the beach - it was pretty but nothing compared to the view at this villa. We also ate in a lot - lobster, shrimp, tuna, etc. It was nice to not be on a schedule and eat when/what we wanted. Thanks again Dana and Scott - see you next year! We had a great time and wouldn't change a thing!

My 2 1/2 year old son, husband and I stayed for one truly great week at crystal sands villa. This was our first time visiting turks and caicos, and I know now it will not be our last. Dana and mark run a very comfortable, we'll kept villa. We had all the necessary comforts of home to enjoy a week with a very active 2 year old. We especially loved the gorgeous, ever so sandy beach. The sunsets each evening where priceless. We felt very safe and being with a little one this was of great importance. Dana and mark had a security guard who monitored the area at night, which made if vey comfortable being able to sit outside in the evening. The villa is close to restaurants, grocery stores and chalk sound. Make sure to visit chalk sound--las brasas has a 2 hour pontoon well worth the trip. Thanks for a great stay, truly great owners. (Only very minor complaint would be that the pool was really cold. Would have been nice to get in it a bit more)

“Just Heavenly”

Reviewed 17 Feb 2014

We were absolutely pleased with our decision to rent a house (this house) instead of being in the hustling, towering resorts on the other side of the island. Dana and Scott were very helpful with every and all questions we had. The house was perfect for us. We chose the ground level. It was so nice to be able to simply walk our patio doors, and essentially be on the beach. Even with the majority of windows closed at night, just by leaving them open all day and after we got back in the evening (and ceiling fans on, of course) it stayed plenty cool for us. Since heat does rise, the couples upstairs did say that it was rather warm up there some days. The pool was always shaded by the house when we were there, so it was quite chilly. The ocean on the other hand was so unbelievably warm, and being able to walk out for 50 yard with it still being only up to your waist was wonderful for activities, and just floating around... Did I mention the sea turtles! The beach was very private. The public access is on the other end of the bay, but we did have a few stranglers come through the vacant lot right next to Crystal Sands, which will someday be bought and built on. Many passers by asked questions about the home and talked about how beautifully calm the water was. We loved our hike out to the gazebo point and up Sapodilla Hill. Las Brisas, across the road, was one of our favorite restaurants. Their ice cream shakes were beyond delicious and they were reasonably priced. Another favorite was Mango Reef at the alexandra Resort. We fell into the hype of Coco Bistro and were not pleased the portion to cost ratio at all. To get around the island, you will definitely need a vehicle. We had thought about scooters, but after seeing the way the locals drive, we were very pleased with the car. Overall, someday when we go back to this island, I would return to this home. It was one of my favorite vacations!

“Total Rest and Relaxation”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2013

If you are looking for the spot that offers great accommodations, fresh air, a scenic view, a wonderful garden setting, quiet, and virtually your own private beach, then this is the place. It is well situated on a beautiful white sand beach that is clear and calm. The sunsets are spectacular and the weather is warm and tropical. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped. We did not lack for any necessities during our stay. There is a nice pool if you so desire but the ocean is the place to be. Nice comfortable beach chairs are available and shade is abundant if needed. The lower floor where we stayed opened right to the beach walkway which was a few steps to the sand. The restaurant across the street (Las Brisas) is one of the better ones on the island, so good food is nearby if you so desire. But if you want to explore then a car is a necessity. Dana and Scott are wonderful hosts and have provided a safe and secure place for their guests to enjoy a holiday. If you want sunny beaches, clear water, calm, and serenity, then this is the place for you.

“Amazing dream vacation”

My family would like to thank the Juraks for being such wonderful hosts and allowing us to rent their amazing beach house for the week. It's hard to completely describe how amazingly beautiful the whole experience was for my family and our friends that stayed at Crystal Sands Villa. It is a completely breathtaking experience from the house itself, to the pool, to the white and soft sand beach, and to the ability to be able to share such an experience with friends and family. Our children loved every second of every day. They never wanted to go to sleep because they thought they were going to miss out on something. We loved going to the shops at the SaltMills and we loved going out to a different restaurant every night for dinner. Each one had their own style of food and each style was great. We particularly loved Mango Reef Restaurant at the alexandra Resort. We also had an amazing boat excursion and highly recommend Caicos Dream Tours. It was worth every penny. Every day was filled with sunshine, sand, and great company. Even when the forecast called for 100% chance of rain, it ended up being totally sunny and beautiful. Pictures say a thousand words, but unless you see this beautiful property for yourself, then you have no idea how beautiful it really is. Thanks again to the Juraks and we will be back to Provo.
