Our Condo is an amazing three-bedroom property with a balcony with oceanfront view. With 3 queen size beds plus a sofa bed in the living room, this condo can comfortably accommodate 7 people. High speed internet, 4 cable ready TVs, air conditioning in all bedrooms, and fully equipped kitchen. The development has three pools, 1 children's pool, 1 tennis court, 1 basketball court, 1 Jacuzzi, walking tracks, and an exercise room, playground and clubhouse and 2-car parking spaces.

Response from the owner The location and proximity to some of Puerto Rico's top tourist attractions makes the Pena Mar complex one of the most attractive and cost effective tourist destination in Puerto Rico. It is important to note that the weather in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean can reach upwards of 90 degrees. Additionally, the city of Fajardo is near some of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico and surrounded by green pastures. It is our recommendation to guests not to leave any left over foods uncovered because this attracts ants. Unfortunately, our guests left foods uncovered which attracted ants from the outside. There are no bugs in the apartment but certainly if food is left uncovered they will attract ants from the outside. The complex has three extremely well kept large size pools and a jacuzzi. Depending on the season of the year and time of the day, the amount of people that use these pools varies. There are a limited number of beach chairs but certainly sufficient for a fairly large amount of people. Our recommendation to guests that are looking for more privacy is to return at a different time or move to one of the other two pools all of which are located nearby. Although we make every effort to provide a home away from home, we recognize that there is nothing like home and every home is different. Currently, all of our pots and pans are brand new and stainless steel, there is a TV in the living room, brand new bar stools, end tables, and 10mb internet service, table and very comfortable chairs in the balcony. Certainly we understand that there are homes that are furnished differently and some of our guests have their own design preferences. We welcome all feedback and use it to continue to improve and provide a delightful experience to our guests. Our local property manager Henry is born and raised in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Spanish is the native language in Puerto Rico. Although he is not fluent he does understand and speaks basic English. Nonetheless, he always makes every attempt possible to provide guests exceptional service including seeking the assistance of his daughter to help translate when English becomes an issue. Since 2008, we have serviced over 200 guests from all walks of life and the world. We thank each and everyone of our guests for their visit and comments. Our overall rating is exceptional and will continue to listen to our guests in an effort to become even better within reason and on factors within our control. Our goal is for every guest to have a delightful experience.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Eduardo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
