“Clean, beautiful and great location!”
The photos showed us that we were going to stay in a beautiful suite but they did not do justice to the size of this condo. It is so much bigger than it appears in the photos. You can pack light as they have everything you need; from beach towels, umbrellas, snorkelling gear, sand toys and boogie boards in the garage to reusable shopping bags, beach bags, toiletries (in case you forget something at home) and sunscreen in the condo. The furniture and artwork was beautiful and all the rooms had little touches like a jewelry box in the bedroom to make your stay feel like home. We used both pools in the complex but enjoyed the pool closest to our building the most. A 2 minute walk through the beautiful grounds and you could cool off in the pool. Very convenient! The grounds were lush and full of colourful flowers. We also enjoyed the lanai view of the lava path, golf course and lake. Evening dinners on the lanai using the bbq made the trip very affordable. The condo's location is perfect. Queen's Market is directly across the street and the grocery store in that plaza makes it easy to walk home with your groceries. There are 2 bikes in the garage to make your way around Waikoloa but it is also very walkable. We visited the local beaches, hotels and shops walking from the condo. Kona is a short 20 minute drive south and Hapuna, Mauna Kea and other beautiful beaches are a few minutes drive to the north. The two local golf courses are excellent and you get a discount on green fees by staying in this ocndo. Roger was easy to work with; always responded quickly to our questions, called us when we arrived to make sure everything was going well and returned our deposit within a few days of our return. We would love to go back to stay at this condo and have recommended to friends and family to go.
“Can't Wait To Come Back!”
We rented this unit, along with another unit, for four couples to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. This was our first trip to the Big Island. While well outside of Kona, Waikoloa Beach Villas is a quick and easy 30 minute trip from the airport by highway. Costco is about 35 minutes away in Kona, but everything else we needed could be found within a couple blocks of this condo. The check-in and check-out processes were simple. The owner even called on our first full day to make sure everything was okay; he was even able to get two twin beds made into a queen bed at the last minute. The condo was perfectly appointed in the kitchen and even included many beach toys and two hybrid bikes. The grounds and pool areas are very well kept. If you run, walk, or bike, there are plenty of nearby trails and wide shoulders. The sprawling and uncrowded beach at 'A' Bay is just a couple of blocks away. We enjoyed playing "credit card roulette" with our friends at Lava Lava for happy hour while watching the beautiful sunsets. Outstanding shopping and dining is a block away at the Kings Shops and the Queens Marketplace. We've stayed on four islands in many different condos and found this to be an outstanding value. We're already planning a trip back with our boys.
“Great condo, great location!”
Great condo, clean, spacious, all the amenities you could ask for especially when heading off to the beach for the day. Great location next to the Kings and Queens shops...you can walk over and find just about anything you might need. Wonderful beach at "A Bay" also within walking distance. We had an absolutely fabulous vacation and look forward to staying here again in the future. Wonderful rental experience, Roger was great to work with.
Great location! Great Condo! Best stocked condo we have ever rented. Location near shops is a plus. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful view of the golf course and Kings trail. Only condo in the area with a grill on the lanai. Well planned rental and Roger was a pleasure to work with. Thanks Roger, we will be back!
“The beauty and elegance of a resort, without the resort crowds..”
We stayed at the Waikoloa Beach Villas property owned by Roger Wilson the last week of august 2013. We couldn't have picked a more lovely and relaxing place! It was so peaceful! We drank coffee every morning on our lanai with spectacular views and beautiful Hawaiian breezes! The house felt like home with all the modern conveniences you could ever need, and was elegantly decorated! Roger provided us with boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel gear and an umbrella so we could fully enjoy the lovely beaches Hawaii has to offer! Having an elevator to the condo was wonderful too as I had tendon surgery 6 weeks before we arrived and could not get up and down the stairs very well! The bedrooms were quite large and so were the bathrooms! The kitchen was lovely and was great for cooking, as was the grill on the lanai! The condo is near the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Heliport so my husband was able to take a Helicopter ride without having to drive to Hilo! The best part was the location...Waikoloa is gorgeous and is a great place to stay...many lovely beaches and shopping nearby! The thing we liked least has nothing to do with the condo...we would stay there again in a heartbeat...it has to do with the lack of restaurants. There are quite a few "resort" restaurants, but we were looking for something other than that. The Kings Grille is great for breakfast though! Thank you Roger...my family has been through a lot in the last few years, and you gave us a beautiful place to enjoy and completely relax! Mahalo!
“Great location and clean condo”
The location was excellent, really close to the shopping centers and the beach. The condo was very clean and provided all the necessities we needed. (The barbecue grill was a plus.)The kids loved the extra room and two separate beds to themselves. The air conditioning kept the condo very cool, opposite from the hot air outside. The garage was a huge plus along with all the swimming and beach equipment.
“Best part of our vacation!”
The location was great, the condo had everything we needed and it was just the right size for our family. We will be back :).
This was our best Vacation ever on the Big Island. We have been coming here for years, but have been staying in the Kona area. It is still close enough to travel there, 25 minutes or so. This is a much better area, because everything is new and more high-end. This is a resort area. The condo was great, very well decorated and we could sit on the veranda and have a drink at the end of the day. It was nice to pick up a steak right across the street and grill it on the gas grill on the outside kitchen. The view from the veranda is of a lake, very peaceful and quite. We liked that we could walk to the beach, restaurants and shops; but feel like you were in a secluded club. The whole complex is fenced and there are 2 pools; one was really close to the condo. “Outstanding Big Island experience”
This was just an outstanding rental experience. Some of our family was there to experience the Ironman World Championships - not as participants but as observers and volunteers. The location of the condo was exactly where we wanted to be - not too close to all of the crowded activity of Kailua. The condo unit is about 25 miles from Kailua. It is close to 5-6 great golf courses if you are into that. Great beaches were close. The unit itself exceeded our expectations. The furnishings were in great condition, the master bath was wonderful, everything worked just as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed and more. The private garage was great. The bar-b-que on the deck was in great working condition. There was plenty of beach gear including snorkling, beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella. We simply could not have asked for more.

“Barbeque On Lanai and Mai Tai In Hand- Paradise”
This was our third stay at the Waikoloa Beach Villas and our second booking with Roger. We like the location next to the King's Shops and Queen's Market (Sansei, Island Gourmet, Starbuck's, John Keawe). The new Lava Lava Beach Club is also a great addition for drinks and pupus on the sand. This unit is very comfortable with two large bedrooms and an available garage to keep you rental vehicle out of the sun. An important aspect of these WBV units is the outdoor kitchen on the lanai that makes it easy to barbeque dinner while enjoying the vistas across the golf course to the Kohala Mts. This unit was well supplied with soaps and paper products. We also like that the kitchen had an assortment of leftover spices and condiments so it was not necessary to buy every single need at the market. Waikoloa has become our favorite destination in the islands and we look forward to returning soon. Aloha.
