“Siesta Key is like the Carribean in Florida”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2015

Siesta Beach hideaway was just what we expected from the testimonials read on website. We always stay in a Trip Advisor location from past experience. The property has all the room for everyone to find a comfortable space. Whether the pool, rooftop deck, or kitchen & LR, there is ample room to gather together or read a book / ipad. We are beach people and spent most days in the sun and in the Gulf swimming. The parasail was great for the kids & we rented bikes for 4 days to explore Siesta Key. The South end of the island had Kayak rentals and we took a mangrove tour which reminded us of the time in Aruba. We had relatives stay for 4 days and never felt cramped. The owners made the reservation process flawless &highly recommend this property

“Great Siesta Key Property”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2014

My family and I stayed in Siesta Key for the first time in October, 2011. Now that the twins are old enough to enjoy the beach we just came back from a winter break in April 2014. This rental home was beautiful! The pictures only show some of the beauty. Very clean and well equipped. We especially appreciated the shallow pool are for the kids to enjoy while we relaxed overlooking the pool. When I was checking rentals on line I sent out a few inquiries and the owner of this property was the first to respond. She was always very helpful and prompt with any answers I needed. Everything was in working order and we truly enjoyed our stay. Siesta Key was as beautiful as we remembered. The beach was wonderful and the village was great. Lots of great restaurants. We enjoyed the Salty Dog and the Siesta Key Oyster Bar. This home is very close to everything, just a bit of a walk to the village. There was plenty of free parking at the beach when we choose to drive. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and very comfortable stay near the beach but in a quieter neighborhood than condos on the beach in this beautiful home.

“Siesta Gem”

Siesta Beach Hideaway was a great place to stay for our annual girls trip. The rental was clean and spacious. Especially loved the 3 bathrooms and the space it provided for 4 girls to get ready for a night out. We loved having the rooftop deck to enjoy the sun and the great Tiki Bar for evening cocktails. The proximity to the beach was great. Most times we did the short walk, however, there is public parking close by if you need to haul a full load for a long day at the beach. Pool was very private and great to cool down after a day at the beach. The price was great and Bob & Susan a pleasure to work with. We did read one bad review, but it did not make sense since most others were extremely positive. It must have been a fluke or strange persons. We were very pleased with our stay and intend to come back in the future.

“Room & Beach, It is all Here”

Guest: Skinners (Louisville, Ky USa) Date of Stay: 8/28/13 If it's room you need do not pass this one up. It is huge, with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the first floor and 1 bedroom and full bathroom on the 2nd level with full kitchen, eating area and living room. Plenty of room to spread out. One block from beach access and within walking distance to the Village. Many excellent restaurants close by, even found an authentic Italian restaurant over the bridge on the main highway. The other place that we always visit when we are in the vicinity is St armands. Very nice shops and restaurants. Once you visit St armands you want to return. The Crab and Fin is our favorite. Owners are great. They met us when we arrived and showed us around. Our deposit was refunded promptly. One person in our party had to be in a wheel chair and we found a device for her at the beach that had huge wheels with arms that were floatation devices so you could take in into the water. The Siesta Key Beach is beautiful... If you are adventurous, drive to Everglade City for a great lunch at a spot on the river and then take an airboat ride through the mangroves. Close to sundown take a sunset cruise, heading toward the Gulf.

“Siesta Key Winner”

What a wonderful vacation. Starting with Bob who met us there, never intrusive but just a phone call away. We were one block from the Gulf with white clean beaches. This house provided the privacy for breakfast in my pj's on the rooftop deck each morning with a good book. My family especially enjoyed the heated pool. In the afternoon we simply walked 4 minutes to the beach to reopen the above mentioned book and begin again. Others took long walks on the glorious white sand I preferred to sit on the beach enjoy the frequent birds. January was the warmest in years, hot days and cool nights. In the evenings we simply drove, walked or called for the guys riding 'rickshaw' bikes for tips who would take you to town. The village was only a 13 minute walk. We learned which of the charming restaurants had the specials and what times. January weather was amazing as Racine was in the single digits for most of it. Of the entire vacation, my first month long trip, the only bad time I had was packing to go home. I would recommend I would recommend this charming 'Siesta Beach Hideaway'. Steve 1/1/13
