Description

Rainier View Lodge (built in 2009) has 2,184 sq. ft. of luxury w/custom, live-edge finish and decor: "book-matched" hickory cabinetry w/cedar and "spalted" maple highlights, hickory hardwood & tile floors, granite counters, feature lighting and a custom-made, 9 ft., live-edge table w/matching benches and 2 - 8 foot leather couches, which promise comfort and ease as you absorb the view of Mt. Rainier from the massive cathedral windows, or drift into dreamland on comfy mattresses with plump pillows and cozy down comforters.

Immediately outside are decks front and back, for enjoying fresh alpine air. Behind the house is a wonderfully wooded area and Hall Creek tempting a visit, along with neighborhood elk.

Though not in a ski resort, we are 23 min. from White Pass Ski area, 7 mi. from Mt. Rainier Natl Park, 48 mi. from Windy Ridge (Mt. St. Helens), equal distance from Portland International and SeaTac airports, 30 min. from the starting point of white water rafting, steam train rides and wildlife parks.

House rules

Minimum age of primary renter - 25 (no one under 18 can be left alone in our homes at any time). NO parties (small reunions YES when rented concurrently w/1 of OUR other houses on adjacent property)! Occupancy limits must be respected. Occupancy = overnight sleepers AND daytime visitors. NO candles, oil lamps, incense or FIREWORKS. During high-fire season, you must abide by posted BURN BANS issued by the local fire department. You must abide by all posted Hot Tub, Fire Pit & Sauna rules.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Marilly (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
