''The Dancing Deer'' offers panoramic views of Wears Mountain in the Smokies. It is convenient to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area attractions, restaurants and shopping. Upon entering the main level, you'll be greeted by a warm inviting living room with a river stone fireplace and plush furnishings. The spacious, fully equipped gourmet kitchen makes cooking a pleasure. The large dining room table and eat-at-bar provide plenty of seating for meals and group gatherings. The master bedroom just off the kitchen offers a king bed with large bathroom and walk-in shower. You can enjoy a game on the plasma TV, sit and visit with friends or treat yourself to the great outdoors on the padded rockers.The loft features a large bedroom with king bed, fireplace, large bath area and its own private deck with the best view in the house.

For each cabin rented, a minimum of four adults over the age of 30 must be staying in each cabin for the full duration of the rental (Age Verification and Phone Numbers are required). NO REFUNDS.

“Absolutely Perfect!!”

My group of 15 stayed at the Deer over Labor Day weekend, and the place couldn't have been more perfectly accomodating. The four levels are nice because it allows for privacy and for the early nighters to hit the hay while the late nighters stay up to enjoy the night. The view is undoubtedly the best in the community. In fact, in my opinion, the Deer is the best lodge in the community because it is separated from all the other lodges. Not only was the lodge perfect, but Patti and Earl were awesome to work with in setting up the reservations. They were extremely responsive to email and provided our group with everything that we needed. They also went above and beyond by sending us local deals of area attractions as they became aware of them. We will definitely be coming back to the Deer in the future. Do yourself a favor, don't compromise your group's stay in the Smokeys--book the Dancing Deer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our ladies' church retreat. The cabin was exactly as picutred. The cabin was very clean and we had no malfunctions while we were there. The hot tub was used every night. The location is ideal as you are away from town and the congestion but not too far. It's an ideal location. It's nice to rent from the owners as you get a quick response and they make sure their cabin is taken care of. Anytime I had any questions, Patti Byrd was very helpful. We hope to stay here again next year.

The house was very nice and very spacious. We had our family of 14 people and we never felt crowded. We all loved the game rooms and the kitchen was great. Everything was neat and well kept. The refrigerator was too small for a large group and a larger dining room table and more chairs for the table would have been nice for accomodating a large group. We could easily have stayed longer than the 8 days we stayed and enjoyed each day.
