Marrakech Mansion is a registered heritage property built in 1860. It is located in the heart of the Historic old town of Niagara on the Lake. You are one block from Queen Street, one block from the Golf Course and ½ block from Queens Royal Park where the Niagara river meets Lake Ontario.

The house has 4 bedrooms, three with Queen sized beds, one with two single beds plus a fold out couch in the library for an extra two guests to a maximum of 10. The beds are all equipped with sheets and duvets, warm duvets for winter and cooler ones for summer. Each bedroom is supplied with two bath towels, a supply of hand towels are in the bathrooms.

The bedrooms are all located on the second floor leaving the main floor for entertaining and visiting. The dining room, living room and library are all connected with lots of room spread out. The new flat screen TV is connected to a HD feed so the picture is perfect! The phone system will allow you to call about 60 countries at no cost and the Wi-Fi signal is excellent.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with Fridge, Stove, Dishwasher, Microwave plus cooking utensils and plates enough for ten people. We supply the salt, pepper and filters for the coffee maker.

The house has three bathrooms, two on the second floor both of which have showers and a ½ bath off of the kitchen.

The private side garden adjacent to the kitchen is where you will find the Weber gas BBQ and Moroccan tile table that will seat ten. The table, chairs and the gate leading into the side garden were all made in Morocco and shipped to Canada in a container.

The remainder of the property contains a parking area for at least 5 cars, lots of grass and flowers. My wife and I are the gardeners; we love gardening and do our best to keep the property looking its best. The garden area is the size of 2 normal city properties so there is lots of room to relax and spread out.

Response from the owner The property is large at 109 x 126 feet. That means lots of garden, lots of grass and yes several places to sit outside. There is a Weber Gas grill, A Moroccan tile table actually 4 of them outside. Moroccan steel chairs and several Muskoka chairs painted vibrant colours. Inside there are 4 bedrooms with colour and comfortable beds. The bedding goes to The Laundry Tub in St. Catherines after every visit and comes back ironed. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can eat at home or walk the 1/2 block to Queen street where you will find many restaurants.

The house is located 1/2 block from the lake and river and one block from Queen street, the closest theatre and many restaurants. My cleaning team takes pride in their work as does our laundry service "The Laundry Tub" in St. Catherine's who wash and iron the duvet covers and sheets after every guest. This is our home too, and we try our best to keep it neat and clean both inside and out.

Response from the owner The house is one block from Queen Street and 1/2 block from Queens Royal Park on the Niagara River. The house was built in about 1860 and retains many of its original features. This was the original property on this block and would have had a much larger property around it when built. It still has one of the largest gardens in the old Town with many old roses, flowering shrubs and trees. It is a great old house, we love it and hope all that stay in it do as well.

Response from the owner This is a grand old house. Built in about 1860 it has 11 ft. ceilings, big rooms and lots of original features. The bedrooms are all on the second floor leaving lots of room on the main floor to congregate or spread out for a little privacy. The property is a fraction of the size that it was in 1860 but it still spans double sized city lot with lots of space to enjoy and grass for me to mow! Response from the owner Marrakech Mansion is located in the heart of the Historic District of Niagara on the Lake, Old Town in local terms. The home was built in about 1860 and was originally on a much larger tract of land. What remains of the land is a double sized city lot measuring 106 feet by 126 feet. There is lots of room to park cars (5 easily) as well as lots of grass to run and play on. The flower gardens are full of roses and other flowering plants. You are 1/2 block from Queens Royal Park where you can watch the sailboats come in after a day or racing and a block from Queen street with its theatres and restaurants. The house is decorated the way our home is, we love it and hope others do as well.

This is the memory that I want guests to go away with. My cleaning staff work hard to keep the house clean and well stocked. I work at the gardens and general maintenance.
