Very Good

“Best vacation in anguilla”

Reviewed 30 Mar 2013

We arrived the last week of March-the villa is spacious with lovely colors, amazing view and spotlessly clean. The pool is wonderful especially after a day on the beach-perfect for cocktail time. Shoal Bay and Rendevous beach are the best we have ever experienced. Great meals at Mangoes, Tastys and lobster pizza for lunch at Shoal Bay. Not ready to leave but will be back soon!! “Memorable Vacations”

Reviewed 17 Apr 2012

On the first occasion we stayed there while we attended the weeding of my niece. The mother of the bride had a wonderful brunch in the villa for the guests. It was catered by one of the local restaurants. Not only did we enjoyed the food but refreshed ourselves in the gorgeous pool. What a treat to walk in the garden surrounded by the scent of gardenias and other wonderful flowers. The view of the white sandy beaches was spectacular. The second time my sisters and I went to the villa for a week. Once again, we delighted in the wonderful amenities the place has to offer. Upon arrival to anguilla we were pleasantly surprised that the owner had arranged for a rental car. Soon we found out that she was available on the phone or internet at all times. Upon arrival to the villa Gardenia, we were greeted by Rose Marie who showed us the accommodations. From the corner of my eyes I saw babies' furniture and I asked Rose Marie about it, since I have grand children and she told me that the place is equipped with baby furniture. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless. We took advantage of the well equipped kitchen to cook and savor the fresh local seafood. . Rose Marie was in the villa at around eleven and when we had questions about the beaches or other attractions in the island she was ready with several different activities or places to go to. After a day out, we all took advantage of the large balconies out of our rooms where we enjoyed some quiet time while being closed to one another. One of the highlights of our day was having a drink by the pool while watching the sunset.

“A luxurious getaway par excellence”

The Villa Gardenia provided the ideal setting for our week in paradise. The villa accommodated three couples (one with young child) with ease. With warm colors and a bright, airy, open layout, we never wanted to leave. Whether lingering in the kitchen after a meal, lounging on the adjoining living room's sofa or (most of all) spending hours by the gorgeous pool, the Villa Gardenia was a delight. We can't wait to return!

“Lovely private house with gardens and good view of bay”

Reviewed 14 Mar 2012

This is a wonderfully laid out villa with a number of ensuite bedrooms as well as generous public space for lounging and dining. All the rooms are spacious, well appointed, and have balconies. The lively use of color cheerfully reflects the surroundings and helps differentiate the different spaces. The lap pool right outside the living /dining areas on the extensive terrace is a pleasure to use any time of day or night. Great house for reunions, family or otherwise. .It does require a car as it is not on the beach or walkable to a restaurant but note that anguilla has lovely white beaches, good swimming, and many good restaurants.

“A Private Luxurious Retreat”

The Brick Family from Wellesley Massachusetts have stayed at Villa Gardenia on a number of occasions. Our stays have always been enjoyable. Villa Gardenia has a wonderful layout. There is room for a large number ofguests. The pool is fantastic and views great. It is easy to access nearby beaches. You will need a rental car. Our last stay was Jan 2009

“Simply Heavenly.”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2012

I stayed at Villa Gardenia for almost one week in June 2006 with a couple of friends, and my stay was simply heavenly. I have traveled quite a bit and paid big bucks for hotel accommodations but i have yet to come across a place like Villa Gardenia. There is something about this villa that instantly makes you feel at home. the rooms are spacious and colorful. Each bedroom has its private bath, balcony and access to outdoor pool. The Service is great as well. we did not need to ask for anything! I would totally recommend this place!!!

“Beyond a wonderful dream vacation”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2012

Upon arrival on the Island we met welcoming people eager to drive us to the Villa. We were lodged in a suite with a fantastic, both, ocean and 'blooming flowers' view. The spotless clean Villa had very welcoming, cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated lounge rooms, bar and kitchen, which were at our disposal at any time, and so was the swimming pool, where we could sunshine and swim as much as we wished in a very private, peaceful and beautiful environment. During our stay, we explored and enjoyed the beautiful beaches unique in anguilla, and we tasted delicious food at local restaurants. We enjoyed visiting numerous art galleries and in a way we shared the life of the local people. It was wonderful. I do not hesitate to recommend +++ this Villa for a short, mid, or long-term stay. Going there is worth a million trips.

“The vacation of my dreams.”

Clean, spacious and with great views bedroom with private bathroom. Maid service provided every day. Swimming pool right outside the bedroom. Well equipped kitchen with all kinds of spices ready to be used. Access to Internet and ability to view movies. Walking distance to the beach. Short 10 to 15 minute ride to night clubs or restaurants. The truth is that staying there one does not need to go anywhere else. It is just wonderful and very relaxing. It is the best place to pamper oneself.

“View and Comfort that just don't quit! Perfect”

Reviewed 4 Mar 2012

We stayed for a long week-end in the top bedroom with bath in the guest house connected to main house by the patio and pool. First pool was perfect large enough to really swim yet intimate enough to hang out in while others sit and sip something cool. The next piece of perfection was the view from the pool and our room. You look down into the a lovely bay and out into the ocean. We own a house on the ocean in Mexico and I must say one of things like about this house is you get the magical view without the high wind crashing waves and sand coming up into it. Here you are nestled into a hill side with all the advantages of the ocean and one of the disadvantages. Finally our bedroom and bath had the same view was painted with hot tropical colors and all the decor to patch you felt swepted away.
