Waterfront property, open 365 days a year!

Casual board & batten exterior matches the ambience on the inside with its blend of classic glossy pine, warm colours and some comfy newer furnishings.

On a lot that is almost 1 acre in size, there are many ways to relax, whether it be playing on the beach, watching the sunset, rinsing off in the outdoor shower, BBQing on the sunny back patio or eating your meal on the shady front deck.

The main living area of the cottage is open concept and actually features two living room settings – a sofa and two armchairs in the sunroom and the living room with sofa, and love seat combo facing a 60” flat screen TV and stone gas fireplace. Plenty of room for the entire family to enjoy their favourite pastimes, especially with the variety of board games you will find on hand. Large windows facing the lake allow natural light to filter into the room. 

The kitchen is fully equipped with a double sink, flat top stove, and plenty of cupboard and counter space. A traditional pine cottage dining table makes for a fun family gathering, surrounded by windows that let you keep tabs on what’s happening at the water as you enjoy your meals.

A bathroom with glass shower stall is located just off the kitchen and is conveniently located to the back door for when you come back from the beach. In the warmer months, there is an outdoor shower that offers both privacy and a connection with nature.

Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and a two-piece bathroom. Both bedroom have queen sized beds and the master bedroom is furnished with satellite TV.  You will also find full laundry facilities on the property. The house also includes wireless high-speed internet access and telephone service for local calls.

We are very excited to announce that in the spring of 2018, we tore down the old bunkie and have rebuilt an addition on to the house that includes a large living room, satellite tv, 2 double beds and another 3 piece bathroom.

At night, you can cozy up next to the fire bowl with a camp fire and count the stars in the sky or rank the highlights of your day at the beach.

Cycle the great variety of paved side roads in the area. Families love Red Bay for his spectacular sunsets and shallow waters that provide a safer swim environment for their children. Windsurfers love the beach at Red Bay for its high winds. In any event, it’s a water enthusiast’s paradise! Plus it’s only a ten minute drive to Sauble Beach for a more lively Ontario beach experience as well as shopping and dining choices. A two minute walk just down the road is the charming Earthbound Gardens. 

For every person over 6, there is a $35/person/night charge.

We try to save tenants money by allowing them to bring their own linens and towels. Linens and towels can be provided for a $50 charge.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jason (the owner) a message.

If Jason (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
