“Ideal residence and ideal location”
Celebrating my 60th birthday back in my hometown was a dream come true with my adult children and their significant others. The home was perfect; clean, cute and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was ideal; close enough to walk to many favorite places on my "to do list", including the Mission to see the 4th of July fireworks, State Street and shops, restaurants, the Courthouse, etc. It was also just a short bike or car ride to the various beaches and harbors. We had a wonderful time. We'll definitely visit again!
“Cozy home in great location!”
We recently rented the Santa Barbara Escape over the Thanksgiving holiday. There were 6 of us between the ages of 11 and 76. The house was fantastic! The kitchen was very accommodating and the house itself was very cozy. The whole family loved the arcade out in the garage and the backyard space was perfect spot for morning scones and coffee. The location was great as well. We walked one block for coffee and two blocks for amazing ice cream and frozen yogurt. We rarely got in our car as State Street was close with all the shops and restaurants. We have already recommended this house to a friend and hope to visit again some day soon!!
“Ideal setting for a perfect vacation”
I can't say enough about how charming this place is. I stayed in this lovely home recently and was so impressed with all of the thoughtfully planned details the owners care to share with their guests. Not only is the place cozy, it is situated in a great location near restaurants and cafes accessible either by foot or bike ( yes, they provided bikes for our use!) We hopped on our bikes and road to the beach, had lunch and even shopped. Hours later, with many shopping bags in hand, or rather on the bike handles, we arrived back to the house and ended our day with a glass of wine on the neatly landscaped patio.
“Charming from the moment you walk in- beachy decor, spacious bedrooms, amazing backyard, washer/dryer, bikes.”
What a treat to stay at such a cozy, charming home. We arrived to a very detailed beach cottage that was week thought out- must be a designer as every room had its own special motif. We spent hours on the bikes going for coffee, near by shopping and fabulous lunch and dinner options. You will feel like you are in your own home staying here! I highly recommend this spot! The reasonable price is well worth it!
“Great place to hang out in SB”
This was a delightful little house. Enough room for 6 people to sleep in great beds. Lovely kitchen, nice living room. Wonderful back yard and the arcade games in the garage were great fun. Nicely situated in SB not far from the action.
“Great base for spending time in Santa Barbara”
This Santa Barbara home was ideal for our family. We had loads of room and it was all very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed (including a great gas grill outside) and so we cooked for ourselves each night and ate breakfast and dinner in a lovely patio area behind the house. The only negative was the rather poor lighting out the back but we managed to improvise with candles, etc. The house is not far from a grocery store and no distance from State Street. All in all, this was a great location and home.
“Fabulous Santa Barbara Location!”
We booked this home for a bachelorette weekend, and we were not disappointed! The house is perfect, close to State Street, and walking distance to everything. What truly impressed me was the house itself. It is beautifully decorated, and has every convenience possible. From a kitchen with all the supplies you would need, to clean towels, linens, and Tv's in each room. The backyard is sunny and comfortable day or night. I would love to return with my family and take advantage of this awesome spot. I highly recommend!
This was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean and cozy & the beds were very comfortable. It's a 5 min. walk to the Sansum Clinic making it perfect for out-of-towners to get to easily. The ice cream shop a couple blocks away was fabulous. We did not use public transportation. The TV was a bit complicated for us non-techno folks but we figured it out by the end of our stay. Having a driveway & parking was very helpful. The patio was very relaxing. Drew was very easy to work with.
“A fine home for a visit to SB”
Clean, nicely appointed and well cared for, this is a terrific rental. Our family (with three small children) appreciated the lay-out and pleasant backyard (and, of course, arcade games). This is a convenient location and the owner is engaged and responsive.
“Kids and adults loved this house!”
To quote the kids...the arcade games were awesome. We also loved the ping-pong table. The house was beautifully appointed and very family friendly. We loved that you could walk to downtown.
