L'Inspiration is a luxurious roundwood 4-season cottage on the waterfront of the Batiscan River in Lac-aux-Sables, Mauricie region (1h15 from Quebec City, 1h fromTrois-Rivières, 2h30 from Montreal). The riverview from our large balcony is astonishing!

Its inspiring, peaceful and resourcing environment with no neighbors aroud, is the ideal place for outdoor activities like hiking in the surrounding forest area, swimming, fishing, canoeing or kayaking. The cottage is located near national snowmobile and ATV trails.

It is full equipped for you to make your stay a great quality, in relaxation and comfort. It has three double beds, a double futon and a single bed. This is the ideal place to spend unforgettable moments with family or friends.

Getting around

There are several activities can be done around the cottage and in the area. For a number of them, this requires a vehicle. In the summer, we provide a canoe to sail the Batiscan River. Its clear waters are ideal for swimming and fishing from our dock our our private beach. It is also possible to go hiking in the forest roads that border the property and biking (not provided). Nearby you can reach a white sandy beach at Lac-aux-Sables (5 km), an 18-hole golf course (10 km) and walking trails (10 km). In winter, you can go hiking, sliding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing from our cottage. For these last two activities, you can access free signposted trails less than two minutes from the cottage. You can also find a ski station nearby.

Interaction with guest

When the complete payment of the rental is confirmed, we will send you two documents. In the first one, you will find the itinerary to go to the cottage from your home town as well as the code of the electric lock of the front door. In the second on are gathered informations on the chalet and the operation of its appliances, a list of activities to be done around and in the immediate area as well as some instructions for your departure.

It is important to respect the tranquility of the place. Partys and excessive noises are therefore not allowed. In summer, campfires can be set up in the designated area. The curfew is at 11:00 pm.

Beautiful cottage, we loved it. We will rent it again. This Christmas vacation were espectacular. We spent family time in the cottage.
