“Great location and beach view”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2013

Very nice beachfront house with a small pool. We have stayed on SGI for years, and think this home is in a prime location. You can walk down a few blocks to the lighthouse, restaurants, and fish trucks. The house itself was in a pretty good condition, but could have used some door mats to keep sand from being everywhere on the hard floors. Entry door was a pain to use with a tricky key (prefer entry code vs physical key). Tvs have recently been upgraded to Lcds (time to update those photos), which is nice to connect your device of choice with Hdmi. Tvs are pretty small however. The best feature is the awesome beach view from the main living room. We will stay here again.

Response from the manager Dear Jeff, Thank you for taking the time to rate your stay with us. Seaesta is a great house and one of the most popular because of the location on the beach. It’s close to everything and has does have fantastic views! Our marketing department is in the process of taking new photos and we will update the website as soon as they have been processed. Thank you for your suggestions on the TV’s, door mats and the keyless entry system; we will definitely pass those on to the homeowner for review. We hope to see you on the island again soon! Sincerely, Resort Vacation Properties of St. George Island, Inc.

“It was a great place to stay!”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2012

We had a blast and thought this was the perfect place to bring our close friends and family. My husband and I have been coming to St. George since 2001 and we really can't find anywhere else we would like to vacation other than St. George. The only thing about the home was thr microwave needs to be replace...there were cracks and pieces would fall off. The pool was awesome, but already very cool because it doesn't get much sun. Definitely would have them turn the heater for the pool on. This was our first time staying beachfront...we usually stay across the street. Absolutely loved being beachfront. We loved out trip and will be back next year.

“Beautiful location”

Reviewed 23 Jan 2012

We stayed at this house summer 2011 and had a great time. The house is on the beach and this was really nice. The house was great and my only complaint really would be the flooring in the open living room and kitchen area...it really needs updating bad. It is stained and looks dirty...even though I don't think it was. Other than that I didn't see anything else that was really wrong. Newer furniture would be an improvement also, but it wasn't bad. We really enjoyed our stay and we think that Resort Vacation Properties is simply the greatest and would never think of renting from anyone else.

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to share your vacation rental feedback with us. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your summer visit to Seaesta. Thank you for the thoughtful suggestions on the items you’d like to see amended in the home. We have passed your comments on to the homeowners for their review & consideration. Thank you for your continued patronage. We look forward to having you back as our guests again soon. Best Wishes, Resort Vacation Properties

“Great "beach house" with unbeatable view.”

Comfortable home right on the beach. Good value, good amenities. Great service.

“Peaceful retreat”

Reviewed 31 Mar 2011

Our time at the Seaesta was wonderful. The islalnd itself, was beautiful and extremely peaceful. The house was clean. Comforters were a little threadbare and the dishwasher didn't clean the dishes but those are the only complaints. When we had a problem with the door lock breaking, maintenance was there within 30 minutes. I was disappointed that the pool was not heated and they wouldn't let me transfer to another property without paying large fees.

Response from the manager We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased that you found Seaesta to be a peaceful retreat. We apologize that you experienced trouble with the dishwasher. We are pleased to report that no further issues have been reported. With regards to the heating of the pool – many of our homes offer the option to heat the pool for an additional fee. Should you like to have the pool heated at one of our properties, just call a few days ahead of time & we will be happy to arrange that for you. Seaesta does not offer a heated pool at this time. We apologize that we could not move you because of the unavailability of a heated pool at Seaesta. Because our homes are all independently owned, unlike a hotel - we are unable to relocate guests without specific authorization. Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us. We appreciate your patronage & look forward to having you back as our guests again soon. Best Wishes, Resort Vacation Properties

“Peace and quiet...too quiet, for me anyway.”

Reviewed 24 Mar 2011

This vacation spot was exactly as advertised, quiet, beautiful and restful. However, I learned that I need a little more action than is offered on St. George Island. No quarrel with the place, the island, the house, the beach, or anything else, It was a learning experience for my personal taste.

“Fabulous!!!”

Reviewed 3 Jun 2010

We love St. George Island and RVP! We will be back, God willing, with the oil spill??? We hope all will be saved on our favorite beach. House was perfect! Seaesta will be our pick again! Loved it! Thank you for giving us a wonderful vacation with our kids and grandkids!!! God bless and protect St. George Island, what a precious treasure.

“stay at seaesta”

Reviewed 3 Jun 2010

I really like the house, it is on the beach, it has lots of windows. It had a major external/structural remodel a few years ago, but it could use some cosmetic work on the inside, as well as updates to the electronics. I've stayed here and several other homes on the island, it is rather pricey for the level of inside amenities.

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to share your vacation rental feedback with us. We are so pleased that overall you enjoyed your visit to St. George Island and your stay at Seaesta. Thank you for the thoughtful suggestions on the items you’d like to see updated & replaced in the home. We have passed your comments on to the homeowners for their review & consideration. Thank you for your continued patronage. We are so pleased you’ve chosen to stay with us again at Seaesta this December. Sincerely, Resort Vacation Properties

“amazing beach proximity”

Reviewed 12 Jan 2010

We have been coming to St. George Island yearly for close to 15 years. Because we have always come with very large groups, we have rented the biggest houses on the island. This year we came with a small group (2 adults, 4 teenagers). We loved this house!! It was perfect for us. Fantastic decks and SO close to the ocean. We kept saying to ourselves....this little house has integrity. It's not one of the big flashy houses, but it's sweet and cute and roomy...and we'll come back!

“little Cool but a true vacation”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2010

It is a gret place to visit, we will probably return in the summer or fall. Spring break is a little cool at times so do not spend the extra money to get a house with a pool. Besides that loved it, no one ese on te beach.
