Description

Shore Delight is a quiet, ranch home retreat on a light traffic street and neighborhood setting, with a short walk to the beach. It is well equipped with everything you need for a care free beach vacation. Included is a well equipped kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, spices, small appliances, and dinnerware. There is a closet full of beach equipment - umbrellas, chairs, beach games and toys, boogie boards, and blankets. Clock radios and ceiling fans are in each bedroom. There are 2 smart Blu-ray players with many apps for your watching pleasure.

Our changeover day is FRIDAY so our weekly rentals run from FRIDAY to FRIDAY. We have chosen this day to give you a better beach experience. There is less traffic on Fri. and you will spend less time sitting in traffic on the way to the Outer Banks and more time actually being on the Outer Banks. The tolls are lower on Fri. than they are on Sat. or Sun.

No smoking in home, no pets.

Owner managed, deal directly with owners.

It is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom ranch home with a large family room and is on a 1/2 acre lot. There is a recently refurbished playground with a toddler's lot, basketball goal, soccer field, walking trail, and swings 1 1/2 blocks away as well as a bike path that runs from Duck to Kitty Hawk.

The cottage rents from Fri. to Fri. in the "In Season" and the "Prime Season". Mini vacations are available in the off season.

Bed, bath, and kitchen linens are available at additional charge as well as a departure clean. There is WIFI and a reverse osmosis water filter. A parking pass, which can be used for parking at the Hillcrest beach, or to launch your boat at the marina, is available for your use also.

The cottage is child friendly. It has a Pak-N-Play, Porta Crib, highchair, booster chair, child gate, and umbrella stroller. There are children's books, games, and toys to keep the little ones happy while at the cottage.

The cottage is ideal for seniors. It is a ranch home with few steps to climb.

It is away from the hustle and bustle but within a short distance to everything. 1 1/2 miles to Duck and 12 miles to Nags Head, 20 miles to Manteo.

Come visit for awhile, we'd love to have you.

There are many attractions to see in the area including Wright Brothers Memorial, NC aquarium, Jockey's Ridge State Park, Corolla wild horses, and others.

“Great house, like being home away from home.”

Wonderful house, with a well equipped kitchen & beach items. House also had a scale in the master bath, which was a great surprise as lifetime weight watcher. Also, the neighbors were all very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Although the beach is .4 miles away from the house, the walk was only 15 minutes one way offering a daily walk of 30+ minutes. At night, the sound of the ocean and the sight of the stars in the sky make sitting on the front porch an enjoyable experience.

The place was wonderful.We were outside of town but close enough to everything. We didnt have the best weather ourfirst 2 days so that made having such a nice place that much better. We even had a close encounter with family of deer that just walked by us in backyard. Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is clean, large, comfortable, and convenient. Everything you need for the beach is there including beach chairs, unbrellas, toys, games, boogie boards and more. Enjoy movie night with some great throwback VHS tapes including the star wars trilogy or some more modern DVD titles.

This home has everything that you could need for a beach stay. Located in a neighborhood that is close to bike path so one can bike to/from town of duck. Can walk or drive to beach. Home is great for get away for couple or family of 4.

My family really enjoyed our weekend stay at your home! It was very clean and had everything you need to enjoy a stay at the beach. Joyce was a pleasure to deal with and we will definitely look to come back and stay at her place again in future years. Recommend highly!
