“Perfectly appointed and in a great location”

Reviewed 11 Mar 2014

We stayed for four months in 2014 as part of a sabbatical at Bangor University. The pictures are an accurate representation of the apartment. The kitchen is big and the dining room has room for 6 with a nice view onto the back patio. Slate floors in both rooms is a nice touch. The pots and pans and utensils are all of high quality. The living room has two comfortable couches with plenty of room for a nice night in. The small fireplace was equipped with tiny wood for burning. We used it a few times, but it is not like the big fireplaces those in the us will be used to. The two bedrooms have nice beds the comfortably sleep 2 adults and there are ample dressers for clothes. The bathroom is nice with a shower that provides plenty of hot water. The whole apartment stays comfortably warm in the winter months. The location is quite good with the waterfront right across the street, the University of Bangor about a 15 min walk, the High St. shops a 10 min walk, and the pier 10 mins in the other direction (if you go to the pier, stop into the Tap and Spile for the finest Yorkshire pudding in town). Lovely views of the Snowdinia mountains and the Great Orme may be had from the front doorstep. In sum, I highly recommend this apartment.
