“Truly magical!”

Reviewed 27 Jun 2016

We honeymooned in Sayulita and stayed at Casa Magia after getting married in Puerto Vallarta. The house truly lived up to its name! The views were spectacular, the walk to town was peaceful, and the house/private pool were perfection. Miguel was also super helpful when welcoming us by giving us thorough instructions and answering all of our questions. We'll definitely be back to Sayulita, thanks to the wonderful memories made here during our stay.

“Magia = Magical”

Reviewed 8 Apr 2013

We just returned from an amazing week staying in Sayulita at Magia. This was our first time in Sayulita and it did not disappoint. Sayulita is a laid back town with a wonderful beach but not filled with Spring Breakers and overdevelopment. The town was full of energy and offers plenty of wonderful restaurants, street vendors and bars but the best part was having the best of both worlds at our fingertips. A short trip up into the jungle hills to Magia and voila, complete peace and quiet. Magia was one of the few places we've stayed which was actually better in-person than the photos. The wonderful-yet-subtle design and features of the home, the sights, jungle sounds and that view are hard to translate in one-dimensional photos. You simply have to experience it firsthand. Picture flocks of bright green parakeets flying past you, geckos chirping and you start to get the feeling. All of the amenities were well thought-out and you have everything you need to enjoy a quiet vacation. Cameron and Miguel ensured everything we needed was provided. The open air shower in the master suite added a special bonus. The walk into town isn't terribly difficult but we ended up renting a Jeep, which allowed us to explore outlying areas. If you rent a golf cart, make sure to reserve one first. I also rode the bus into Bucerias to get the Jeep and I found the service dependable and cheap. The bus stop is just down the hill from Magia. I would recommend this home to anyone interested in a memorable experience in Sayulita.

“Best rental in Sayulita”

Reviewed 28 Mar 2013

My fiancee and I were blown away at how well equipped Magia was. Cameron was very helpful and even so kind as yulitato call and check up on us once we were settled. Do not be discouraged by the location. We read multiple recommendations and reviews all of which painted a picture of a castle on a mountaintop but the location was exactly what we were hoping for. If you're looking for privacy in a secluded, tranquil home, look no further. Albeit a bit of a journey to walk into town, we looked forward to the hike up and down the steep driveway and did it twice a day when we were without transport. We rented a golf cart for the majority of our stay which was both fun and efficient - highly recommend it for those worried about the proximity to town/beach. The sounds of crashing waves was very prominent at night, combined with a gentle breeze that whisked across the hilltop made for a very relaxing atmosphere. Love the pool, love the hammock, the drinkable tap water, the in-sink disposal, the quick internet, the security system, the list goes on... Do yourself a favor and remove yourself from the hustle and bustle. When was the last time your took a shower in the open air?!?

“Casa Magia...Perfection!”

Reviewed 12 Dec 2012

Casa Magia is absolutely incredible! I'd venture to say one of the best homes in Sayulita! The house was the perfect place to unwind and relax during a busy, fun filled wedding weekend! We all were looking for a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, and Casa Magia was absolute perfection! From the photos and all my email correspondence with Cameron, the owner, I was assured it was going to be great. Cameron answered all of emails promptly and was very helpful in all aspects of the planning. The photos accurately reflected the properties appearance and amenities, yet its much better in person! The gentleman, Miguel, who manages the property, is especially helpful and kind. From the views, the spacious bedrooms, the very, very well equipped kitchen, the pool, and the management of the property, Casa Magia far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend staying at Casa Magia. And I can't wait to go back! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

“Luxury Living in Paradise!”

Reviewed 1 Nov 2012

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Cameron and Fiora's incredible Sayulita home in Sayulita. The house is amazing, the location is amazing, the view is amazing, the town is amazing and the surfing is amazing. If there was a stronger word than amazing, I would use that instead. The home is close enough to hear the ocean but far enough away so that we didn't hear the noise from town. The "birds and the breeze" is what we started calling it after the first day. I can't say enough good things about our time in Sayulita and how much we loved Magia. We'll be returning very soon. Thanks Cameron and Fiora for a wonderful time.

“Perfect Retreat!!!”

Reviewed 28 Oct 2012

What a beautiful place, so well designed with every detail considered. The accommodations were perfect; we had everything we needed, and then some. Of course the views of the ocean were magnificent, but so were the views of the property, from every angle. The location is great; close to town, but not too close. Some days we never left Magia, enjoying the pool, cooking meals in the wonderful kitchen, and feeling the gentle breezes fill the veranda. Other days, we could easily venture into town for some local food and talk. We can't wait until we can stay again.

“Great Vacation and a Home away from home”

Reviewed 22 Oct 2012

This is an amazing house, we spent our vacation there and had a great time. The house is clean, comfortable and very safe. The location is just amazing over looking the ocean and close to all amenities. We recommend this vacation home very highly.

“Wonderful time in a great place”

Reviewed 14 Dec 2011

We had seen the pictures of house and Sayulita but they don't do them justice. The house is amazing, huge spaces to relax in and everything was wonderfully comfortable. The house had everything, just needed the tequila and the limes. The location is great. Very close to the town and beaches but far enough to be tranquil and peaceful. Being situated on a hill gives you spectacular views and sunsets.

“Very Nice Place”

Reviewed 13 Dec 2011

A very nice and calm place to stay for some days or more time. You are in the middle of the jungle with a stunning view over the bay but only 5 minutes away from the village, so its perfect if you want to chill and relax a while at the house or get to beach and take part in village live. Can't wait to come back again some day ...

“the magical time”

Reviewed 23 Nov 2011

I spent a week with my friends at Magia this past Spring and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation is second to none, the view is breathtaking, the pool is just right and the quiet and peace is much desirable. Highly recommend this villa over any other in the area.
