“Best stay on our trip”

Reviewed 3 Dec 2013

Just returned from 10 weeks in Europe. Our stay in Malta was the greatest. Home was comfortable, convenient, unique, with its retractable roof and indoor/outdoor feel. Modern convenience went hand in hand with 400 year old charm. The artistic background of the owner was displayed in all the amazing features. Most memorable were the warmth of our greeting and the fun of our first days. Owners spent time showing us the neighborhood, taking us to festivals, introducing us to the charms of this delightful island. Can't put a price on that. We will definitely recommend this home to others. Already planning to return.

“Simply perfect”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home, which is a perfect blend of character and modernity. We loved the inner courtyard and the rooftop patio with its view over Rabat. It has all the amenities one could want, is close to a bakery, restaurants and bars, and a short walk to Mdina. Our hosts were very helpful in giving us recommendations of things to and getting us from place to place. We would definitely stay here again.

“A Beautiful stay”

Reviewed 9 Apr 2013

I stayed in this beautiful house with a couple of friends last year. We enjoyed our time here to the fullest as it is such an authentic way to spend time in Malta. The house is located in a very convenient place, minutes away from Rabat center where you find many tasty ( good price) restaurants, bars, shops and buses. The best part of staying in this home and it's surroundings is that you really feel all the history Mdina has to offer. I guarantee a beautiful stay just as my friends and I enjoyed.

“An amazing place to stay”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2013

This house really gives a special feeling, even if you wouldn't know it as a history of 400 years. The feeling of sleeping under the roof is fantastic and the layout is really handy and thoughtfully equipped. It's really well situated - in a really calm environment and everything you need is close. I'd highly recommend it.

“Magical”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2013

Lived here for almost 1 year. The house is welcoming from the moment that you step in. Beautifully renovated with the perfect combination of modern blended in with the antique stone. It is very comfortable and cosy yet easy to open up the skylight and windows to let in the fresh air of Rabat which is one of the highest points in Malta. It is located in an alley right next to the Roman Villa and has the advantage of being peaceful yet right in the middle of the attractions. At any time during the day or night you can walk about the fairy-tale streets of Rabat and Mdina, or go for longer walks or bike rides towards the cliffs of Dingli, Imtahleb and Bahrija. There are also many great restaurants and classic tea shops and bars around Rabat and Imdina and fresh Maltese Bread from the Rabat bakery all day. It is a perfect place to sample the best of one of the most beautiful areas on the Island.

“unique opportunity to go back to medieval times”

Reviewed 4 Apr 2013

I stayed in this house a couple of times and fell in love with it right from the start. The house is unique - old walls create a medieval flair and make you feel like home right from the beginning. Its location in Rabat, just next to the old capital city of Malta, Mdina, enables you a peaceful and special stay in Malta, which you will never forget! I loved it and can only recommend it!

“Magical and Peacefully”

Reviewed 4 Apr 2013

Lovely, lightfull and comfortable, i felt in peace in this house. Close to the main door of the old city Mdina, i've loved the feeling to across the centuries and to discover Malta next right to its story.

“one word...wonderful!”

i stayed there the last summer, and i immediately fell in love with this house!...just wonderful!

“*beautiful place next to Mdina*”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2013

when you go on holiday to Malta or even stay longer, this is the perfect place to be, next to Mdina, but also not far to great and beautiful places on the island (s)that you will discover! but the best is the house you stay in: you´ll feel home and be fascinated by its beauty, the big hall and glass-roof, also the rooftop balcony! Enjoy it-I can absolutely recommend! I ´d come back for a vacation for sure!

“modern and charming!”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2013

I stayed here last year and it was great! Very modern and newly renovated but still charming and retaining the aspects of a 400 year old house! Close to everything but a nice hide-out if you just want to relax.
