Description

Tone Dale is a wonderful large property in Somerset that is great for house parties, celebrations and get togethers with friends and family. With great features that make for fantastic group accommodation, it has a large dining room that comfortably seats all your group, a kitchen that is well equipped with all you'll need, a games room with table tennis, pool & casino table, and a large luxury hot tub in the garden. For after dinner fun, make the most of the party room with integrated sound, lighting and air conditioning.

Hire the house for midweek, weekend or weekly lets for up to 31 guests. We would be delighted to help you with catering during your stay or you may prefer to self cater. We can also arrange activities for you or put you directly in touch with our great suppliers for all sorts of fun, such as clay pigeon shooting, archery, horse riding, go karting, or pampering sessions. But if there is something you would especially like to do, let us know and we will do our best to try and arrange it for you.

This area of Somerset is ideal for rural walks, great pubs and places of interest.

Ground floor

Entrance through the grand (40ft) Hall. Off the Hall is a fully equipped Kitchen together with a scullery and jam room. The drawing and dining rooms are where guests can unwind in comfort and style with a roaring log fire, amid many antiques and family portraits. The more energetic can use the new party room which is fully equipped with integrated sound and light for dancing or retire to the Long Room for a game of table tennis or pool.

First floor

There are 10 bedrooms (and 6 shower/bathrooms) all reflecting fascinating, different aspects of the history of the house and family. They are comfortably furnished, with sumptuous beds. 3 bedrooms have en suite facilities, 3 attic rooms, 2 twins and 1 walk through room.

The 11th bedroom is the ivy clad Old Laundry, a charming, very large bedroom suite with a gallery and its own bathroom. In total the house has 10/11 bedrooms & 7 bath/shower rooms.

The Stables

The Stables annex available, sleeping up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms with two bathrooms. The Stables have been extended and modernised to provide contemporary accommodation alongside the main house.

The Garden

Three acres of beautifully landscaped grounds are ideal for picnics or a game of croquet, badminton or boules. The river just helps to create this idyllic setting for your house party.

We have a small on site office beside the Stables, where we are on hand if you need any questions answered about the local area or if you have any problems in the house. Out of hours, we give you a mobile phone number, if you need us. As well as being able to arrange activities for you we can also arrange catering, so that you can chill. This can be anything from a delivered supper to a celebration dinner with waitress service and drinks served on the lawn, weather permitting.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
