Exceptionally spacious and light three-bedroomed apartment which has a large private south-facing roof terrace overlooking the rooftops towards the cathedral. Here you can enjoy sunny winter days and summer evenings, when you may want to enjoy a barbeque. It is within a few minutes walk from the Halles, the Markets, the theatre and is a 10 minute walk from the Medieval Cité whilst situated in the best part of the Renaissance Bastide. It has easy access to on-street parking and is close to the train station (SNCF).

This gite is a rare find and we have had super feed back from guests surprised that such a light and quiet apartment is a holiday rental in the centre of town.

There are two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite shower) and one bunk room. All the matresses are of superior quality. There is in addition a trundle bed in one of the living rooms. The kitchen is well equipped, and overlooks the rooftops of the Bastide. Ideal for families, groups of friends or people seeking a relaxing break. The apartment is an oasis in its central location close to markets, cafes, delicatessens and restaurants are all within walking distance. Parking of all varieties is easily available nearby. The owners are willing and helpful in providing travel tips and other sorts of practical advice.

“Amazing house!”

We stayed here for 3 nights, not long enough! the apartment was really nice. We where 3 adults and 3 children, and there was plenty of room. There was excellent cross ventilation and it was right in the center of town. Carcassonne is also very interesting as it is in the center of Cathar Country. Lots to do and see.

Response from the owner Hello Steve Sorry t hear about your parking snags. That is not typical. it is usually pretty simple. I also was not aware of the break in frequency. I wonder how you heard that... I hope a rash rather than something that is going to settle in. I will advise that the airconditioning should be left on all the time. the doors of the bedroom need to be let open and the windows closed and it is really effective. Thank you for your visit and feedback. The free parking is at the Dome and the parking on the Boulevard is 2.50 per day
