Response from the manager Thank you for your review of your stay at Long Beach. In addition to speaking with the owner of this home, we have gone through each of the guest surveys we have received in 2018 from other guests of Long Beach and there is no other indication of items being dirty or in disrepair. This leads me to believe that some heavy use has occurred in the time between then and your arrival, and I have notified our housekeeping department so they can help us troubleshoot and ensure that Long Beach is living up to its given Silver rating. The explanations you received relating to the age of items in the home and procedures such as taking kitchen inventory were derived from correspondence with the owner about your specific disappointments. Additionally, the owner of Long Beach has no intentions of dismissing your concerns nor does Emerald Isle Realty. We left the discussion with the owner about your stay open-ended as she plans to evaluate each item during her next stay at her home. We are sorry if you were made to feel dismissed in any way, and we appreciate the care that you’ve shown about this home as well as the experience of other guests. Certainly, we would welcome you back, and we hope to have another opportunity to better serve you.
