Welcome to the #1 place to stay in the Upper Keys. Enjoy our lovely 2/2 right on the ocean, offering spectacular views of the purple and aquamarine waters surrounding Tavernier Key. Safe, gated resort community with private lagoon beach, marina, and newly renovated pool, boardwalk, marina and cafe. Close to many attractions and dining. The condo is gorgeous, extremely well maintained and has a Tommy Bahama feel mixed with the fun colors of the Bahamas.

Ocean Pointe is a Florida Green Lodging certified 62 acre resort located about 70 miles from Miami and about 90 miles from Key West. The property has 24 hour security and is completely gated. The resort offers a private beach, fishing pier, swimming and snorkeling area, Jr. olympic pool, hot tub, tennis courts, barbecue grills, picnic tables, marina, boat ramp, boat storage, kayak rentals, on-site bar / restaurant, and more!

Location is key as we are close to some of the finest restaurants in the Florida Keys, minutes away from a Dolphin encounter, fishing charters, galleries, movies, and shopping. The resort is ideally situated to take advantage of some of the best dive sites, which includes Molasses Reef. Not a diver? Enjoy the undersea sights from a glass-bottom boat at nearby John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park.

The condo is eco-friendly, professionally designed, extremely well maintained and has a Tommy Bahama feel mixed with the fun colors of the Bahamas. Our unit features a newly equipped kitchen & living room, with a granite counter top, and stainless steel appliances. Prepare your Rum Runners and enjoy one of the most breath taking views from the kitchen, living room, and terrace. Wake up to see the sunrise over the ocean from your comfy surroundings in the master bedroom. Both bathrooms have a full size shower with a tub in the guest bath. There is a 55" TV and DVD player in the living room and a 42" TV in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has an extremely comfortable king size bed with full ocean views and there are twin beds in the second bedroom. Fast Wi-Fi is included.

Bringing your boat? Our marina can accommodate boats up to 28' (subject to availability) Reservations, insurance and dry and/or wet slip fees are required. We had an interior decorator design our kitchen with a large counter so families and friends can gather around & casually dine and fraternize, all while viewing our ocean view. While we maintain the only "owners" closet in the guest bedroom, we do provide fold down hangar racks for clothes and hotel style lifts to hold luggage. We hope that your stay was memorable and invite you to come back again soon.

The Association has planned on a full upgrade which will offer free basic (and faster) WiFi. We have been advised this should still take place 1st Q or early 2nd Q. I was surprised to hear about the limited hours at the marina cafe and pool bar. There has been a recent change in property managers, and while that is certainly no excuse, could be a factor. Regardless, your comments will be forwarded to the proper folks and we will follow up. We would love to host your next Keys Getaway, so stay tuned!

How do damage deposits work?
