The apartment is extremely well located, right in the middle of all amenities: shopping, cafes, pizzerias, restaurants, buses. An amazing location! And well guarded, with security on both entrances. Emilia is great. Anything that we needed in the apartment, she either provided right away, or asked us to get it and we would be reimbursed. She also helped us with the taxis to and from the airport. Even when Emilia had to go on holiday, we were corresponding by email and all our needs were met. Her mother, Olga, and brother Eduardo saw to it, and were very nice and very helpful, going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Eduardo sent us websites of places to go to and how to get there by local transportation. It made it a wonderful vacation for us and certainly a great place to return to.
The apartment is very spacious! With two of us we had tons of room. The apartment was also very clean. It's about a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro stop, which was handy for getting all over the city quickly. The owners were also great to work with! We needed a cab to the airport and they completely helped us out. Great experience all around!
The apartment is very well located in Palermo, we went walking to parks, zoo and japanese gardens. Also famous restaurants in Palermo Soho can be reached in a few minutes by taxi. The building is great and there are two supermarkets nearby, a coffee shop downstairs and nice restaurants around the block. We had a very nice stay in this apartment and I highly recommend it. Owner is always available and very gentle.
“Excelent option in Buenos aires”
I stayed in this apartement three nights in april of 2013. I agree 100% with the previously review of the guys from Boulder, Colorado, USa. The apartment is huge. Everything works. The building is very well maintaned and there is a good gym avaialable. The neighborhood is excelent, with everything you can neeed very close. I would like to thank Emilia and her mother for the excelent stay I had in Buenos aires. Highly recomendable.
“excellent stay / will return”
the apartment is located in a very quiet tower building, two blocks away from Las Heras ave. where you find all kinds of buses that connect you to the city, and one block away from Libertador ave, to the other side. It is incredibly silent for the location and for Buenos aires - I am a local, currently living abroad, so I know the city well, it is very hard to find silence in Buenos aires. windows face the rear of the building; it is on the 9th floor; the building has a lovely swimming pool on the 8th floor. Emilia, the owner, is a superb host, just perfect. I had no problem, also she was incredibly helpful in absolutely everything that I needed (the temperature changed during my stay so her mother came to set the heating, which is hot air and has a thermostat, so you can regulate it (you can set it in auto fan, it might make noise when turned on and off, though during my stay the temperature was not that low and I did not have to experience the fan going on and off). The apt is fully furnished and the bed is just *superb*: the mattress could not be better, it is firm and comfortable. it is queen size, and thank god not two single beds joined at the middle (as is customary in Buenos aires when you rent apts, for some reason that is a mystery to me; I dont know why but owners in Ba have not yet incorporated the concept of the queen or king size bed as everywhere else). The bedroom is big, it has room to even put a king size bed, or perhaps two queen beds: it has a fantastic walk in closet and a full mirror (another missing item in apts in Ba, again a mystery). The kitchen is small: you have to eat in the living room. the sun on the balcony only gets there in the afternoon I think. I was out all afternoons, so could not enjoy this. Right downstairs you have a very expensive supermarket (Disco- dont go there) and two blocks away there is a less expensive one, Coto. I did not hear noise coming from the 9th floor(unless everyone was on holiday). absolutely perfect stay.
muy buen departamento, muy buena ubicacion. Muy recomendable
“As Comfortable as Our Own Home”
We just keep coming back to this ap't.: 2010,2011 and as recently as 2012 for 12 weeks...from Oct.24 to Jan.15 2013.. We adore the n'hood, the bldg, the nearby museos, parques and restaurants and the convenient bus transportation. There is a gym and a pool one floor down...there is a disco market downstairs and Carrefour and Coto a block or two away. Walking to Recoleta is a cinch...we walk to Palermo Soho,Palermo Hollywood and Las Canitas too. Also the Palermo Parques are close by. Best of all...the owner is responsive if anything goes wrong. This is so important when you are renting. The last thing one wants is not being able to contact an owner...and not having the "emergency" taken care of. We have always found the ap't in move in condition and the weekly maid is like a member of our own family. So...we not only adore Buenos aires...but we adore this ap't.
