I stayed for the winter and for the most part it was good, it had a skylight which really made it nice and bright. It was clean and had everything in the kitchen you needed. From other trips where I had stayed I learned to bring a coffee pot and a wet jet floor mop which was good because theirs needs to be replaced. It has wood lament floors and no carpet which kept it cold even with the thermostat set at 72 and would run a long time and not run for a very short time before it turned on again. Granted it had some very cold weather for a longer time period than normal but carpet would have helped to keep it warmer. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great.

checking in is worst. 10 hours drove to there, but need to wait for more than 5 hours to check in. building is wreck and old. However, bedrooms is not that bad and at least they have the pool, and near the beach. in contradictory, this location is peaceful. if you want to go to fun place to play, then you have to drive 15 minutes from this location to there. good thing is that, the location is near Buffet Restaurant, such as Original Benjamin Calabash Buffet and others.

Response from the manager Our check in time is posted everywhere as 4pm. Cleaners need time to clean units after another has checked out and they have multiple units. The time between check in and check out is small and with more than one unit, they work as hard as they can. We want you in as soon as possible so you can start your vacation stay.

I stayed from June 25 thru July 2nd. It is a very relaxing atmosphere. I like the terraces, the on-site pools, the grills, and the close poximaty to the beach.

We take two vacations each year and always stay in a condo. I have never had to hang up the towels and put sheets on the beds before. The master bedroom's bed is sunken on the right side and left me with back problems. The Tv's are old and the remote in the livingroom would not adjust volume. On the good side, the color scheme is nice, it is not too close to the elevator, and quiet. You do have to walk a ways to get to the beach.

The condo itself was nice. When I resereved the room it was advertised as a beach front condo. The rental agency that rents this condo only has photos of beach front property online. It was across the street two buildings back. It would have been nice to know that before showing up. The rental agency advertized that there was a hot tub on the property. This was not true. I think my biggest problem is with the rental agency's false advertisement. My only issue with the condo itself is that the beds in the rooms were uncomfortable. The rental agent in the office didn't know anything about the property ammenities and didn't want to take time to help me.

Response from the manager I cannot find anywhere in the property listing the information you discuss as being in error. No pictures for this unit show it as a beachfront nor any verbage. There is also no verbarbage concerning a property hot tub. I can find nothing that would be considered false advertising. Perhaps you were looking at several different properties during your search and got the properties mixed up. If that is the case, I can understand your disappointment.

We have stayed at Pelican's Landing many times over the last 20 years. The area is perfect for families. The large, fully-equipped kitchen allows for "home cooked" meals while away from home. This unit is across he street from beach, but there is very litle traffic since the street is a cul-de-sac. This particular unit is adequate; however, it is getting a little worn and shabby. For example, there is a large bleach stain on the kitchen counter. There are much nicer units than this one.
