“My Vacation”

Reviewed 5 Oct 2012

I have visited Edisto Beach for 63 years.I lived on the beach at one time, My father would trave a 100 miles a day to his job in Charleston so our family could spent time on this great beach. My mother spent 3 months camping in the State Park with my youngest brother who was borh with Holland Menbrain Disease. She pulled him in his stroller 7 plus miles a day to go collect shark teeth and fossils,up too the left of the camp grounds. She found a lot of rare fossils and shark teeth. Her biggest fossil find was a huge Mastodon tooth and thousands of shark teeth (one was a great white shark tooth)She found a rare fossil bear tooth and donated it to the Charleston Museum in my brother,s name.

Response from the manager Sounds like you and your family have "puff mud between your toes" and are a true low-country family. Thank you for the wonderful story. Edisto Realty
