“Waikiki studio with breathtaking sea views”
So nice looking out over the park with good water views between the buildings over the sea. Gorgeous comfortable small unit with everything you need. Very adequate to use for small amount of cooking needed. Karon is exceptionally good with communications. Illikai nearby serves up a good dinner. Bev
My trip started of bumby, but the rental owner and assistant made me forget the bump in the road very quickly. This has been the best vacation I have ever had. I was smart enough and lucky enough to find this particular vacation rental for what I believe is a bargain price compared to the hotels. My studio apartment overlooked the ocean. The building where this apartment resides is super clean, secured, and located in an ideal area. I rented a vehicle and one of the things I really didn't realize was how difficult and expensive it would be to park my vehicle. Fortunately, the rental owner thought about that and there is a location about 8 to 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment complex. The parking fee is a 1/2 to 1/3 less than what the hotels charge. If you make this your rental for your vacation, you will be on a main strip with a lot of shopping and restaurants close by. You can even go over to the Hawaiian resort hotel across the street and watch the fireworks that they conduct every Friday night. I had a blast! By the way, you within 8 to 10 mins walking distance from the beach as well. I loved waking up in the morning and looking out at the ocean. You can get that at any hotel I guess, but you will pay through the nose for it. This is a perfect get away for a single person or a couple. Hawaii is pretty pricey so why pay more than you have to for a priceless view and a extreamly relaxing stay. This place gets and deserves the highest rating. I loved it here and would come back in a heart beat!
My wife and I stayed at this perfectly located apartment for 8 nights in May. The view from the large window was absolutely spectacular with views overlooking Waikiki's largest green area, Fort Derussey and the ocean beyond. Well within walking distance to everything in Waikiki, with buses to other areas nearby. Ala Moana Mall is only a 15 minute walk down the road. Although it can handle 3 people, I would say it would be tight. Perfect for a couple. Very clean with everything you could need for a stay such as a microwave, kettle, fridge, dishes and cutlery. With so much fine dining close by who wants to eat in anyway. Laundry facilities on the fifth floor were clean and reasonably priced with machines that accept debit/credit cards for payment. Forget the coins. Dealing with owners was easy via e-mail. They were very helpful. If you are bringing an overseas phone, you may find difficulties in using it for local contact as we did. If you want to rent a car, ensure book a parking spot with the building manager early (before you arrive) as other parking in the area is quite steep. Truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider next time.
“Budget Studio Condo in ala Moana”
Stayed here March 7-11 with grandson. Rather tight for three people but may be perfect for two. Had a hard time finding the beach the first time. Great location for bus connections, convenience stores, restaurants and security. Clean building with pool and laundry on 5th floor.Laundry works on credit cards, not coins. Great views. Surprisingly not very noisy when window is open. (I thought there was a lanai from pictures but I was mistaken) If we rent again it would just be two people. Liked least about it, drapes didn't close all the way, too much furniture,no telephone in unit and check in and out times. Owner is very friendly and accommodating as far as amenities.
“Close to everything with a great ocean view”
Loved the condo and it's location to the beach, shopping, and dining. It is only about 2 blocks to the beach. The room has a good ocean view. The only negative thing I can say is that there could be some improvement on some details. Such as the wood floor is 95% complete and the room could use a fresh coat of paint. The condo owner was very good in answering all our questions in a timely manner. Overall was very happy staying here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next visit.
Response from the owner Thank you for your comments. Since your stay, I have finished installing new flooring and made other upgrades to the apt. Hope to have you again on your next trip!
