Hacienda del Mar #2 is a comfy townhouse located just a short walking distance to the beach. This is the perfect vacation home for your entire family to enjoy! It is half block from Blackbeards restaurant, two blocks from the post office and three blocks from the movie theater and a new public boat ramp within a mile from the property. The townhouse showcases hi-speed wireless internet, two (2) flat screen LED TVs (the living room TV is a 60"smart TV), leather sectional sofas/recliner, ceramic tile counter tops, washer/dryer, central air .

Spend the day relaxing at the beach, and the afternoons either at the semiprivate swimming pool or on one of the decks/balcony overlooking the street or the pool.

The Patio also features a BBQ grill and a bar counter top where to enjoy a cold refreshment by the pool.

House-trained pets allowed through a small pet fee.(2 max) usually $59 per pet. If it was not included on the original quote, it may be charged after reservation is booked.

- Multilevel property - Garage on ground floor, Living area and 2nd floor...Master Bedroom on 3rd floor.

- Swimming pool is not heated

- This property is registered and holds an occupancy permit with the city of South Padre Island

I am local.. My wife and I live about 25 minutes away and are available if needed. I have installed an electronic lock on the main door, and will program a personalized access code for you (which will only work for the length of your stay). So... no keys are required. Also, I have been compiling a binder with information, which is at the condo, for your benefit. I have listed my favorites restaurants, addresses and phone numbers among other information.

Response from the manager Thank you for the feedback! Let me address each one of the concerns so future or repeat guests have a better picture of true condition of the Townhome. The mattresses are all Sertas, a very good an recognized brand, that were bought new a couple of years ago. They are all of medium firmness! Unit decor and amenities are continuously upgraded. Just late last year alone, we have replaced the living room tv with a smart LG 55" LED unit and this year the dishwasher. Interior paint is re-touched once per year, right after the peak season ends! The pool, as far as I know, have not had any major issues, and it was working properly. It is scheduled for a resurfacing on the 3rd week in September of this year (this is done usually every two years). In summary, since this is a property rented directly by owner we strive to try to keep it top notch, clean and safe as much as possible. Also, I am local and just a phone call or text away" to resolve issues as they arise!

Response from the manager Thank you for the feedback. I would like to point out that this is not a condo but a "townhome" as registered with the city of South Padre Island. Also, there are two units in the building and an efficiency apt that we do not rent. I certainly appreciate the feedback about kitchen utensils, which we upgrade and replace, usually a couple of times a year as needed. The backyard Jacuzzi is certainly not advertised specifically because it is not heated, but a nice bonus for the hot Summer months. In summary, since this is a property rented directly by owner we strive to try to keep it top notch, clean and safe as much as possible. Also, I am local and just a phone call or text away

How do damage deposits work?
