“Wonderful place to stay”

The flat was clean and bright with a lovely back yard. It was very convenient to the tube. Will stay there again.

A short walk to the Pimlico tube station and restaurants in a nice residential neighborhood. The decor was charming and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. Having two bedrooms, two baths and a full kitchen was perfect. The kitchen was a bit small, but had everything we needed and certainly workable. Overall, we were very pleased with the flat.

We enjoyed our stay at Claverton in Pimlico. It was about a 10 min. walk from the Tube. Our taxi cab driver was waiting for us when we got to the airport, though he was not in the spot we expected him to be in. It is a long ride from the Heathrow airport. The flat is downstairs in what we call an English basement so if you are older, or with young babies, or cannot handle steep stairs this could be a problem. But there are windows in each room to let in the sun-- if there ever is any. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils . We stayed a week and had several meals in which was easy to do. The only thing I wish they had supplied was a regular coffee pot. The coffee press thing was not satisfactory. The dishwasher was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Guest BR is very tiny but it does show that in the picture on line. Bathrooms updated and fresh and clean. The fireplace worked well and was so cozy on those dreary Nov. nights. Nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit,but the dryer takes forever which I hear is the standard for England.Also there were no direction books for the washer and dryer or the oven Confusing to foreigners. Neighbors were quiet and the neighborhood seemed clean and safe. It is near the library. We did have a fuse blow and it was difficult to find where and how to restart it outside the unit at night - but we did it. Peter was our taxi back to aiport and he was punctual and could not have been any nicer. The only real problem we had was the keys for the double lock were hard to use on one of the key chains. The locks definitely need to be changed. I think I am very picky in my overnight stays and I would think anyone would be happy with their visit here.

This suite is very well located. The #24 bus which travels past most all of the central tourist attractions goes along Claverton Street, and the Pimlico tube stop is only a short walk away. The suite is comfortable in most respects but it does have drawbacks. It is a basement flat, and as such some of the rooms, notably the kitchen, are very dark and air circulation is not great. There is an outdoor patio off the master bedroom but it is not furnished and is uninviting and overlooked by flats above it. There is far too much furniture for a small flat which makes it difficult to get around in the living room and dining room. The second bedroom is terribly small, and is not suitable for a long stay unless you like claustrophobic spaces. The kitchen is very small and not at all well equipped compared to other furnished rentals. We always stay in apartments and cottages when we travel so that we can cook. If you love to cook, this may not be the place for you. Another problem was that the wifi never worked properly while we were there. We also had a problem with the electrical power while we were there but Home from Home was very responsive in fixing this quickly.

beautiful homey, well stocked flat. location close to council estates but great for finding taxis and getting to Tate galleries and embankment/city. Neighbour above noisy and creaky footsteps.

Its a lovely, elegantly decorated 2 bedroom (3 bed) , 2 bathroom flat tastfully decorated. All mod cons and suitable for up to 4 adults. Its a couple of blocks from Pimlico Tube and about 15 minutes brisk walk from Victoria Station (where all the main shops are). A couple of hundred metres from the Thames. It was ideally located and we would stay there again. Only issue is that its a "sub-basement" style of flat - very narrow stairs lead down to it and its not suitable for disabled access or those who may not be able to carry heavy bags.
