“A fantastic family villa”

Reviewed 26 Apr 2014

Just returned from 9 nights at Villa aisha! What a wonderful holiday! Thank you Sari, Made and Nadia. (and thanks Nick!) Great sized villa, lots of room for kids to run around - grassy area for picnics by the pool. Very lush and green. Central to everything, literally a stone's throw from shops, galleries, and restaurants - great cafe opposite for morning cappuccinos! Walked nearly every day to Eat Street, about 15 minutes, passing shop after shop! Beds very comfy, master has a king sized bed, firm but comfortable. All bedrooms are very big, upstairs a little smaller. Bathrooms generous sized, off each bedroom - master bathroom needs a new shower head but otherwise a great sized shower. Living area was awesome, outdoor, indoor, didn't feel like we were ever inside - the way we could sit on the comfy couch with a glass of wine, whilst watching kids in the pool - was so lovely and relaxing. Good sized kitchen, to prepare a few meals for kids - and a big water dispenser always full, so easy! As there is no security or all day staff at this villa, (it was of course cleaned daily) my only suggestion would be to travel with your favorite Bali numbers programmed into your phone, Ku De Ta, Sardine, Metis, Mama san - to make reservations when you want to dine out - as well as popping in any emergency numbers, ambulance etc. just to be on the safe side, so as to know who to call, if you need to - given there is no security outside. The beach was only 5 minutes away in a taxi ($2 if that) - and best spot to be dropped off would be Gado Gado, where you can walk along beach at sunset, very pretty - feet in sand, perfect. Construction wise, as is all over Seminyak, there were a few noises we had to deal with, but this changes from week to week, so no point to say much, except that it was never very loud, just some hammering from time to time. Inside Villa aisha is an oasis of green and calm - and we will be back! Perfect holiday for a group of friends or family!

Response from the manager Thank you for your feedback, and it is always good to hear that our guests had a great vacation. We always strive to improve our service and are most grateful for the suggestions made. New shower head has been done. The banging about has thankfully finished, permanently, we were unaware of this, and have just found out an elderly Indonesian who owned the adjoining property was removing part of the roof and second floor for religious reasons. All done. We are going to take on board the suggestion of "useful phone numbers" and this is being worked on right now.

“Beautiful Villa in the heart of Seminyak”

Reviewed 30 Mar 2014

The Villa is ideally located in the exact heart of Seminyak and the wonderful thing, it`s in a small gang, which give an enjoyable quietness while you are exactly in the middle of the vibrant Seminyak area. The villa is beautiful, comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and the garden. A real pleasure with a cold glass of white wine. Nick`s staff is friendly and attentive. At walking distance, supermarket, restaurant, bars, beach... In one word : beautiful ! Thanks Nick !

“Superb!!”

A very big thank you! We all ( 2 families of 4) had a lovely time in Bali and especially enjoyed your villa and the lovely services that were provided. With this being our 11th trip to Bali and with the plentiful villas to choose from, we could not of been happier with our choice. You have a lovely villa that suited our needs all round. Location was important to us and Villa aisha was perfect. Everything from restaurants, shopping & money exchanges, right at the end of the driveway...Superb! Privacy could be sought behind the villa entrance door, when we wanted to escape!! Sari is an absolute gem! Daily 'fresh' breakfast, a warm smile and a really 'can do' attitude, both for us and the kids...Superb!! Villa Wifi was an issue for us in the first few days, but when we mentioned it, the problem was fixed within 24hrs! Villa layout suited our needs for both socialising & privacy when required. Some suggestions (if I had to be fussy)...Top room can get quite warm in the mornings / afternoon. Would suggest blinds for the window above the stairs & in the bathroom. Thanks for the curtain in the meantime...certainly helped!! The sliding doors when closed (ground floor rooms), have gaps around the perimeter of the door frame & wall. This allows mosquitos into the room at night. Coils helped allot. Coffee machine broke down on the 3rd day, but the cafe around the corner provided the necessary caffine fixes!! The pool water temperature was quite warm on arrival. Dropped temperature after a few days. Good for night swims, but at times in the great hot weather, you just wanted to jump into a 'colder' pool!! Will definitely be recommending to other like minded families. Thanks again, hope to be back at Villa aisha really soon!

Response from the manager Very nice to hear that you all had a great stay at Villa Aisha, and thank you so much for your feedback. We have taken on board your comments and are fitting extra window blinds and door trims. The coffee machine has been fixed. Hope to be able to welcome you all back to Villa Aisha on your next trip.

“Above expectations”

The villa looks great from the photos but it looks even better when you see it. We arrived at midnight, late and tired from our flight and the sight of the inviting pool, the lovely garden and our comfortable rooms was a highlight for all of us. Sari the housekeeper was there to welcome us with cool drinks, to show us our rooms and to answer any questions they may have. We love the pool the best and the fact that even though the villa is close to shops, cafes and restaurants, you don't hear the traffic noise when you are in the villa. Within a short walking distance, you can get to Bali Deli where you can get good cafe latte, groceries, meat, vegetables, and delicatessen. There is also a bakery where you can buy Western bread, pastries and pies. You can also change currencies there. We love the Bali Deli and not a day go by when we are not there at least twice a day. Nearby is also a great Indonesian cafe Made's Warung. Nick and his staff have made our stay very comfortable and were very helpful. They were really sweet and bought me a birthday cake on my birthday. They were also very quick to address any issues or queries we may have and I've been impressed. A minor annoyance was when 2-3 staff members turned up at the villa to look at the villa during our stay without asking us in advance if that was ok. I thought that was a bit strange. The housekeeper and the pool guy are there daily except Sunday to clean and that's ok because they are there for a reason. Fortunately, one of my friends was at the villa when they turned up and he allowed them into the garden and pool area but not into our rooms. I do think that staff viewing of the villa should be done when there are no guests staying at the villa. And if that's not possible, they should call the guest in advance to explain the reason for the visit and to ask if that's ok. But that was a minor annoyance in comparison to what was a fantastic stay at Villa aisha!

I have just spent a week at Villa aisha, with my mum, sister and 2 children, this is such a fabulous property, I searched the internet for hours and I knew when I found Villa aisha I had hit the jackpot. From start to finish the enquiry/booking was looked after swiftly and professionally. The Manager, Nick, even found the time in his very busy schedule to pop in and introduce himself and make sure everything was good. Sari, the housekeeper, is a very special lady, she looks after you like your family, she cooked dinner for us on a couple of nights and her meals were delicious, she also made a different breakfast for us each day. The private pool was cleaned every day as were the rooms, we didn't have any problems with power, a/c or hot water, which can sometimes be a issue in Bali. When you change money don't use the guys at the beginning of the driveway, they tried to rip me off! I'm in the airline industry and can't wait to promote this little gem amongst my fellow co workers.

“An Oasis in the Heart of Seminyak”

From the moment I chose Villa aisha as the home away from home for a week long birthday celebration with my closest friends, I knew that we would not be disappointed. Dealing with Nick, the villa owner was easy and he willingly answered all questions I had in the months leading up to our arrival in Bali. From payment of the deposit to our drivers waiting for our arrival at Denpasar airport for transfer to the villa and finally walking through the gate into what would be our little piece of paradise for the next week, our group of 6 ladies were just in awe of how perfect Villa aisha was. Exactly as was portrayed on the website. Sari, our housekeeper/breakfast cook was an absolute gem and no request was too difficult. Always a smile on her face and willing to share her wealth of knowledge of Seminyak and Bali in general. The personalised service of Yolanda, the Guest Relations Manager, was a breath of fresh air. A lovely young lady who went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect in every way, even surprising me with a birthday cake on my special day!!! Highly recommended!!! Villa aisha is of a high standard and will not disappoint. Great location!

“Spacious quiet villa in the heart of busy Seminyak!!”

We had a lovely stay at Villa aisha. The villa itself is large & spacious with the lounge & pool area being the central gathering area where you could chill out on the comfortable couches, lounge in the sun on one of the pool beds or take a dip in the refreshing pool. The amenities are all there & the villa contains a fully equipt kitchen should you want to cook for yourself. We didn't cook for ourselfs as the villa is located in a fantastic area right near many fabulous restaurants & bars. Ensure that you bring your own toiletries (shampoo & conditioner etc) as there is not much in terms of toiletries provided in the bathrooms. Other than this we did not have an issues with the villa & can inly say good things. We had a lovely lady Sari look after & maintain our villa daily for us & she was there for anything that we needed. Nick (& Yolanda) was also a pleasure to deal with & I look forward to booking other properties through him for my future trips to Bali. Thank you very much. The villa felt like a home away from home.

“Lovely Villa, our home away from home”

Reviewed 23 Jul 2013

We loved staying at Villa aisha, and dealing with Nick was a pleasure and easy. The Villa was perfect for us. A little home away from home, but close to some very nice restuarants. The pizza place across the road made the biggest pizza's I have ever seen, and the 2 Boys ate these on quite a few occasions. The pictures are very accurate of this place. The rooms are all lockable and the gate to the Villa also locks, so we felt very safe here. The pool very refreshing, and you could do as you pleased with no yobbo's around. There is a good Money Changer down the end of the street at the Bali deli, and a very good massage place about 1/2 way down the road. Very nice to get a foot massage after a long day shopping, before going to bed. The only disappointing thing was not having the towels changed every couple of days. I would recommend staying here, and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Nick.:)

Thanks nick, villa aisha is a hidden gem. All 4 bedrooms are immaculate and we loved the respite of the air conditioning. From your prompt responses with our booking, to your driver Norman, who was always willing to assist and Sari who should be commended as the head concierge in Bali, as what ever we needed Sari could assist. We loved our stay here and will return. Perfect for 4 adults and 5 children. Thank you.

I recently visited Bali with my family and we stayed in Villa aisha which is located in the heart of Seminyak. The Villa is close to all transport, shops & restaurants. Just metres from the main street but very secluded and away from the hustle & bustle. The staff were fantastic and very kind. Thouroughly recommend this Villa for your stay in Bali... However please be ware of people trying to scam you when your book on the internet. They Intecept your emails and Repy with fake identities and try to get you to pay a deposit to a UK Barclays bank. This nearly happened to me. Ensure your contact the owner direct.
