“Roomy home away from home”
For a longer stay in Provincetown it is nice to have a roomy location with conveniences beyond what you get in a typical inn or B&B, and this place offers just that. The "studio" is the entire second floor of a cottage tucked away in the woods in the East End, just off Bradford. While we are not noisy people, it was nice to know that, in this case, the first floor was an unoccupied space, so there was no worry about disturbing others. With windows all around, we did not need to use the air conditioner. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the gas grill outside on the balcony provided added convenience. The entire space is fresh, attractive, nicely decorated, and solidly maintained. The location is amazingly private, given the location, and at the same time it is very convenient -- a few steps away from the tennis center, just off Bradford if you are driving, a stroll through their private garden to Commercial if you are walking or biking, and, beyond that, a cut through the houses to the beach itself.
“Vacation in Provincetown, Cape Code”
We stayed in the Cottage for a week and it was a very pleasant experience. Nice place with a beautiful view, secluded in the woods, close to the beach, downtown and to the trail in the woods which our dog enjoyed very much. Our hosts, Jonathan and Camille are extremely friendly and warm people who made our stay very enjoyable. They are great dogs lovers. Dog even had its own towels. Cottage was fully equipped with everything you may need, including all utensils, bath with jacuzzi and wine glasses. We will definitely recommended this place to all our friends.
“Adorable cottage with everything you need”
This studio was absolutely perfect for us. We traveled to PTown for memorial day weekend when the streets are loud and the women are crazy, but found ourselves in our own little private oasis. The studio had more than enough room and the outside deck is incredibly peaceful and we grilled out on the Bar-B-Q. The back trails through the woods are gorgeous and we were just a 5 minute walk to the beach through Suzanne's Gardens which are beautiful. We were able to participate in the shenanigans of Memorial Day Weekend but also come "home" to quiet and privacy. Jonathan was so easy to work with and very helpful! We would definitely stay here again!
“Charming Secluded Cottage”
My daughter, who recently moved home from Texas and I drove down for a visit to Provincetown where I spent my summers. We found Jonathan & Camille's wonderful rental and are so happy we did! It was just spectacular, secluded and everything we could have asked for was there for us. It being winter we didn't go out walking but in warmer weather walking into town would be very easy. Also a nice beach is nearby. I cannot recommend this highly enough - from the wonderful warm greeting when we arrived, the jacuzzi, view of the woods. I look forward to returning with my husband another time.
“We will keep coming back!”
Based on pictures alone, we were excited to stay here's upon our arrival, we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings of this cottage! It felt like we stayed in a treehouse with a sweeping view of the conservation woods behind it. This cottage had everything you could need, from a ridiculously well stocked kitchen (nice pots and pans, every utensil imaginable, small appliances galore, even sharp knives!), bike rack outside, grill, jet tub, beautiful hand painted tiles in the bathroom and art on the walls, even towels left especially for our dogs! The owners were very nice, their house is a work of art itself perched on a hill above the other rental cottages. We can't say enough good things, can't think of anything we didn't like! A p-town hidden gem!
“We're so glad we discovered this!”
We (he 75, she 63) were looking for a charming, romantic spot on the Cape to spend a quiet, relaxing week walking together and romping with our beloved golden doodle on dog friendly beaches. We found all that, and far more, in Jonathan and Camile's lovely cottage on Hideaway Hill, Provincetown. Right from our cottage's deck, we walked through lovely shady scrub oak woods to a trail through Provincetown's magnificant dunes, and over them to a dramatic ocean beach. Another walk of a few minutes, which we took every morning before breakfast, took us through a beautiful garden (now a town maintained park) that Jonathan's mother planted years ago, and then to Provincetown's serene bayside beach. The cottage unit itself was also terrific: a bright, light-filled open space layout with beautiful stained wood floors, simple-lined furniture, large glass windows looking out onto woods, and a compact, very well appointed skylighted kitchen. And our hosts, Jonathan and Camile, were just wonderful; Friendly, creative, worldly dog lovers, who went out of their way to be helpful, without being at all intrusive. Jonathan is a seriously creative carpenter whose house, which he built, is a real museum piece. And Camile's gardens, especially her peonies, are breathtaking. It was a sweet, unexpected pleasure meeting and talking with them. We'll definitely return this fall and/or winter, as well as next spring and summer--for Jonathan and Camile, as much as for their lovely cottage.
“peaceful, roomy, and in the woods”
We stayed in the cottage and it a super pleasant experience. Jonathan installed picture windows and skylights so that you feel like you are completely in nature. It is a nontraditional Provincetown experience because it is a bit away from the center of Commercial Street, but with bicycles it is a pleasant easy 10 minute ride to the hustle and bustle. I plan on going back.
What a perfect hideaway! Jonathan and Camille are perfect hosts, the property is beautiful, garden is breathtaking and you are steps from a private beach. The properties are dog friendly including the beach. The Studio was quiet, private and full of light. All amenities are included - everything you need even down to towels for your dog! The East end of town is quiet - and the walk into town is easy and quick. I will be back!
Real nice secluded property on a hill in a wooded atmosphere but still within 5 min of town and two blocks from the beach.Nice view from our studio which was very sunny and clean. Great relaxing time and dog friendly. We will definitely be back.
Response from the owner Thank you for your positive feeback, we are happy that you enjoyed you stay.
“Secluded dog-friendly beach haven”
This is a great place if you want to bring your dog(s) and just relax. Laidback owners in a natural environment. The complex is set back off the road and the cottages are well-kept and spacious. There was very little noise, if any, while we were there. This is a true Cape Cod experience. Just a couple of minutes on foot to the beach which was great for the dogs who could have spent the entire day there. It was nice to be able to make several trips to the beach with them. The studio we stayed in was clean, well-stocked and ideal for us who prefer making our meals to eating in expensive restaurants all week. Beware, this is not right downtown. Be ready for a good 20-25 minute walk to the action. We did it sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Great cardio! Definitely worth it.
