Please read my REVIEWS previous guests have written. I live across the street from my rental unit & can be available to answer questions, suggest places to go, places to avoid, share my favorite shops for jewelry, clothing, & more. I've lived in St. Thomas for over 16 years & know the island very well. If you want something & it's not in the condo, I'll go out an buy it for you! STARBUCKS coffee, DVDs, 2 bags of golf clubs and many more amenities!!!

Location, location, location! Frequent Caribbean travelers know that the East End of St. Thomas is where you'll find the best hotels, restaurants, and beaches. From the condo, you can walk to the Ritz, St. Thomas Yacht Club, formal and informal dining, a health club and spa.

Feel safe—this gated community requires all visitors to have an access card to enter the premises. In addition, a security guard greets every car in the evenings.


This 2 bedroom condo has 2 kingsized beds and a day bed that sleeps 2. Each bedroom has a king size bed; one of the bedrooms also has a day bed that sleeps 2. The master bedroom has a breath taking view of the Caribbean Sea and Little St. James Island. The garden bedroom has a view of luscious plantings, a kingsize bed and a daybed to accommodate two more guests. A Pack-N-Play with sheets and a cozy blanket are available.

Kids Big & Small:

In addition to the Pack-N-Play, the condo includes a high chair, Britax car seat, puzzles, card games, board games, books for babies, kids, teens, & adults, bathtub toys, sand buckets, shovels, castles, boogie boards, soccer ball, swim noodles, and more.

Where to eat:

There are 2 restaurants on the beach; Sangria's is great for informal dining while The Caribbean Fish Market is more upscale. Take a 4 minutes walk to the Ritz and enjoy one of several restaurants offering exquisite cuisine.

Or, stay home and cook your own gourmet meal in a fully equipped kitchen. Eat in the dining room that seats 6 or recline on the lanai and enjoy Caribbean breezes while you drink and dine til wee hours of the night.

Other than snow skiing, St. Thomas has it all. Magnificent shopping; St. Thomas is a tax free port—you pay no sales tax on anything you purchase. Looking for more activity? There’s any water sport you can imagine: parasailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, or just lying on the beach and soaking in the rays. St. Thomas has the largest and best Butterfly Farm in all of the Caribbean. More of a couch potato? Relax on the deck and enjoy the view; it’s my favorite place to be.

You can take a taxi, rent a car, or jump on the 'dollar bus' which is now $2. If you decide to take taxis, you may want to rent a car for a couple of days to drive around the whole island. UBER & LYFT are NOT on the island.

“Just what I needed”

Everything was perfect! I could not believe that I could see the ocean and beach while laying on my bed. I vacationed with my husband and two teenagers. Sherri's condo was spacious and well stocked. We are beach sloths and seafood piggies and this was the best condo for our family at an unbelievably affordable price. Having two bedrooms with king beds and two bathrooms to quickly shower up after the beach was wonderful. The two restaurants on the beach were wonderful for dinners and I used freshfoods.VI to stock the fridge for all other meals, drinks and snacks. Sherri provided freshly ground coffee which I enjoyed on the patio every morning. My kids enjoyed making sand castles everyday with the sand tools from Sherri's shed. The beach was not crowded at all and there was always beach loungers for all of us. I hope to get back there soon.

“Outstanding Condo, Location, and Amenities”

The condo was spacious with excellent appliances, furnishings, and amenities. Sherry was a fantastic host; she provided all the information we needed to enjoy our 2 week stay at Cowpet Bay West. The adjacent pool and beach were excellent. The on-site restaurants were convenient and provided great meals. We will definitely return to this condo for our next stay on St. Thomas.

Three of us guys made (sort of) last minute plans to visit St Thomas and fortunately we found Sherri's condo on vrbo. We took the the only week she still had open and we were happy that we did since many of the other condos we looked at did not offer the same value that we got here. Everything was as advertised. 5 star all the way! Clean, comfortable and a quiet location. Staying Cowpet Bay did mean that we needed a rental car, but in our case we would have needed one regardless of where we stayed. I suppose the if you just wanted to stay here and not go dashing out around the island like we did you could get by without a car since there are a couple of restaurants and a great beach in this complex. The three of us were comfortable in the 2 bedroom unit. The second bedroom had two beds, so it worked out perfectly for us. The kitchen was fully equipped. If we needed something in the kitchen we just needed to search for it and it was there. The dining and living room were comfortable and offered a great view of the water, boats and islands. The St Thomas Yacht Club, beach, pool and two restaurants are all right there Not more than a three minute walk to all those. The Sunday morning orientation offered at the beach was informative and the complimentary bloody marys and snacks really hit the spot. During our week we visited and went snorkeling in the BVI, St John, Coki Beach, Secret Harbour and, of course, Cowpet Bay. Sharri was right on when she suggested we would enjoy Coki Beach the most. Not at all crowded the day we went, friendly people selling food and drinks, clear water and good snorkeling. Several evenings we went to Red Hook for drinks and dinner, only a five minute drive away. Most afternoons we enjoyed sitting in the shade on the balcony with cold drinks, a nice breeze and a wonderful view. It would have been easy to just spend days hanging out at the complex, sitting on the beach, under the shade of the palm trees, at the pool or in the restaurants. We met some of the year round residents who seemed to do just that, they took the kids to the beach everyday and just enjoyed themselves. Sharri was in contact with us from day one and I always felt that if I needed any good advice that she would be happy to offer it. If I were to try to find something to complain about it would be hard. The worst thing that happened was that a light bulb burned out, but there were spares, so really no problems at all. We would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful view from the apartment. Place was very clean and had a washer/dryer where we could do our laundry. 5 minute walk down to the beach, pool, bar, and two restaurants and a couple more minutes to the Ritz Carlton hotel. Would rent again!

We had the best time ever and cannot wait to return. Condo was terrific, very clean and has everything you could possibly need. Sherri is absolutely terrific and had all angles covered fully. All recommendations for activities, shopping, dining, services (card rental) were spot on ensuring we had a most perfect trip. Highly recommend visiting BVI with New Horizons Charters and golfers will love the challenging course. Cannot wait to come back. Thanks so much Sherri and hope to see you soon!

Sherri's is amazing. She is warm and welcoming, and attentive and available should you need her for anything. She really wants you to have the best experience possible and does everything to ensure that you do. Her condo is well equipped and has everything you could ever want or need. It is very clean and organized - easy to find whatever it is that you might be looking for. My husband and I and 5 year old son, shared the condo with my in-laws. It worked out wonderfully. There was enough space and privacy for everyone. I loved having the two private baths as well. The condo itself is decorated nicely and is very comfortable. Felt like our home away from home. The view from the balcony is breathtaking - both day and night. The condo is close enough to town should you want to go out, but we actually spent much of our time on the grounds. Everything we personally needed was pretty much there. The beach (and café) is just a short distance walk from the condo. Supermarkets / liquor stores are within a short driving distance. The beach and complex couldn't have been more perfect for us. It was quiet and never crowded. Just a sprinkling of people because it's a private complex. The waves were gentle and perfect for my young son. I think because of the geographic location, it's kind of in a protected cove. The saltwater pool was awesome too. The grounds are well maintained, and I loved all the tropical flora - not to mention seeing the many iguanas sunning themselves (but don't worry, when I say many, I don't mean too many ;) It's been a few weeks now since we've been back home and it seems like a world away, but I really wanted to share how much we enjoyed staying at Sherri's. She really is a special woman and goes above and beyond to make your visit one that you will enjoy and remember. I can't say enough good things about our trip and our stay at her condo. It was absolutely perfect for us.

“Great place to relax and unwind”

We spent nearly a week in this delightful condo in Feb. 2013. From the first, we were pleased with the attentive care of the owner to be sure our vacation would be one to remember. Sherri did a wonderful job of getting all the info we needed prior to arrival. The house is in a great location and well cared for. Although it is airconditioned, it sits where the tradewinds come drifting through and keep the condo very comfortable. There is plenty of space inside and very comfortable beds. The kitchen was well appointed for those days we wanted to cook our own meals. On the same property is one of the best restaurants on the island, The Caribbean Fish Market. We highly recommend it as well. Sherri was there to greet us even though it was late when we arrived, and made sure we had everything we needed. The beach below is lovely as well, and it wasn't too crowded when we were there. It was also handy to have a washer and dryer in the condo allowing us to pack very light for our trip. We would definately recommend this property to anyone wanting a great place to just kick back and unwind. Of course there were days we enjoyed some exciting adventures such as the zipline, hiking and snorkeling. The grocery store is close by and we were pleased with the friendly staff. “Paradise in St. Thomas”

Our St. Thomas vacation was a memorable one! Sherri was a great host and answered all of our questions and was always available if we needed anything! The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. The view was also gorgeous! You are very close to the beach, just need to walk down a few sets of stairs to reach the pool and hot tub as well as the beach. We spent most nights relaxing in the hot tub and loved every minute. The restaurants around the pool/beach area are also very good and reasonably priced for the area. I would recommend renting a car and taking it to St. John for the day, the beaches there are spectacular and it was nice to be able to travel around the island on our own time. We received a discount from zip rental since we were staying at Sherri's condo! You are also very close to the town of Red Hook which was a fun little town and you must go to Duffy's love shack for a unique drink! Sherri has many amenities at her condo, including laundry which was a bonus! She also had swim noodles which came in handy when snorkeling on the beach. The beach at Cowpet Bay had some really good snorkeling and I would recommend bringing your own snorkel equipment, otherwise the resort will rent to you. This was our first time staying on St. Thomas and Sherri's condo exceeded our expectations! We have had vacation rentals in the past, but have never experienced a host as accommodating as Sherri and I highly recommend this condo for your next vacation!

“Fabulous - five star vacation at Cowpet bay”

From the time of booking to the time we checked out, our stay at Sherri's beautiful condo was a dream vacation. Sherri is a fabulous hostess and the condo is impeccably clean and equipped with everything needed. From hairdryers and corkscrews to beach towels and a cooler for a picnic at the beach. Sherri was quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay. We celebrated a 30th anniversary, 50th birthday, and one year anniversary/honeymoon for our daughter and son in law. The condo was perfect for two couples with plenty of privacy and space. The location is beyond beautiful, the view from the deck is post card material! The snorkeling at Cowpet Bay was some of our most enjoyable during our stay. Great food at Sangria's and Caribbean Fish Market right on the condo property. I would highly recommend this property to my friends and family and anyone wanting a dream vacation.
