Description

Our beautiful, updated Farmhouse has two bedrooms, front porch with a swing, over an acre of grounds to meander and play, as well as easy access to private hiking trails. It sleeps up to five people.

The Farmhouse lies in a beautiful location tucked into the edge of a small meadow at the head of the hollow, with a small stream bordering the side and front lawns.

We are within a five-minute walk of Sandy Bottoms Trail Rides.

There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom with a step-out doorway to a side porch. The other bedroom has a double bed. A futon is in the living room for additional sleepers. There is a lovely sitting area and a handy kitchen for coffee in the morning or a fresh-cooked dinner meal.

The Farmhouse includes a kitchen full of amenities, a stacked washer/dryer, dining table, futon and cozy sitting area. There is Wifi available, along with a SmartTV in the living room for your favorite subscription services. A TV and DVD player is also provided in the back bedroom. Phone service (landline-unlimited US calling) is available as well.

We offer over 160 acres of beautiful, private-access, mountain property for your enjoyment. There are nearly six miles of hiking trails. Enjoy easy and private access from one of two trailheads. Signs are also placed along the different paths to guide your way. If you like hiking in the mountains while listening to birds and other sounds of nature, you will love our trails. These grass bed trails are rustic and maintained monthly to remove any fallen limbs and provide a 5-6 foot wide path for hiking. They range in difficulty from level to steep to moderate. Bring some good hiking shoes, step out into nature and enjoy a beautiful slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
