“Amazing!!!”

Reviewed 24 May 2014

I could go on and on about how beautiful and peaceful this cabin is forever. There's noting like falling asleep to the sound of a running creek or to the fire place. We are definitely visiting again!

“Most relaxing vacation ever!”

Reviewed 25 Sep 2013

The first thing that greets you as you get out of your car is the soothing sound of the running water from the creek beside the cabin. When you walk into the cabin you feel like you are really living in the mountains. The cabin walls are made from beautiful natural logs and there is a rustic stone fireplace in the living room. The beds are very clean and extremely comfortable. You will have the best night's sleep ever when you open the bedroom windows to let in the fresh mountain air and hear the gentle sound of the running water from the creek lull you to sleep. The side porch directly faces the creek and is furnished with rocking chairs and a small table which we used for eating our meals outside. We especially loved the fact that the cabin is pet friendly. Our dog was right at home and loved wading in the creek. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wishing to have a nice relaxing vacation with scenic mountain views close by and off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Response from the owner We love the sound of the creek! Even when we are just dropping off supplies, it's a whole othr level of relaxation.

“Great winter get away”

Reviewed 20 Jan 2013

I've been to Maggie and Lee's cabin on Neil's Creek several times in the fall and have always enjoyed the great 'home away from home' feeling and wonderful nearby hiking. This was our first winter trip and we're now converts! A beautiful cabin in the woods rather than a 'neighborhood' it was a great base to explore the Mt. Mitchell area. Would highly recommend - Just let us get our weekend booked first :)

Response from the owner We will look forward to having you again!

“Cozy Cabin in the woods with nice big porch overlooking pretty b”

A great cabin with a "mountain get away feel." Love the open lay out of kitchen to living room. Wood burning fireplace. The cabin even smells great, nice woodsy smells, no overpowering tacky cleaner smell. The sound of babbling creek can be heard inside the house. A beautiful hiking trail you can walk to that goes long the Toe River, so pretty. Super close to Blue Ridge Parkway, water falls, and cute mountain towns. Nice owners that are helpful; they promptly returned a valued item we left at cabin. Kitchen is plenty stocked; the owners must love to cook. Cabin off a nice flat dirt road, so no feeling of being off a big noisy highway. With a little research, plenty to do in this area if you are one of those people that is worried about being away from a bigger place like asheville.

“What a Wonderful Scenic Cabin”

Reviewed 13 Oct 2012

My husband and I recently stayed at this wonderful Cabin. It was perfect... quiet and peaceful setting great for enjoying nature as well as a little peace and quiet. The Cabin itself was wonderful, fully stocked kitchen, bedding and even some fun games for the family to have some real together time. Don't miss this treasure...of the greater ashville area...and a great Golf Course settled in the mountains as well.

“Next to Heaven”

Reviewed 20 Sep 2012

We have stayed at this cabin about 6 times over the past few years and find it to be the most peaceful place on earth. I am currently here as I write this. I can sit in the rocking chair on the wrap around porch for hours listening to the creek and watching the wildlife. The cabin is nicely furnished and 'green' clean. There is a great local golf course and the Blue Ridge Parkway just minutes from the front door. Asheville about and hour drive from the cabin and the trip will not disappoint ! Maggie and Lee assure your stay is wonderful! I would live here if I could !
