Walking distance to Musee D'Orsay, Louvre, Notre Dame, St Michel metro, Michelin and non Michelin starred restaurants - what more could one want? This apartment is situated in a quiet street (Rue de Seine) just off the tourist trail of Blvd St Germain. The street holds a little fresh food market, wine shops, Gerard Mulot and a Boulangerie Paul amongst its highlights. The apartment is very well furnished and not large but no apartment that the average human being can afford in Paris is large. The bed and bedroom is very comfortable and clever use has been made of limited bathroom space. The kitchen encourages you to eat out which is not a bad idea. Overall the apartment was "fair" value. The process for being let into the apartment is good and the gentleman who we kept waiting for well over an hour at 9pm on a Friday night was very gracious. The security deposit was refunded in full within a few days via paypal. Would stay again if in Paris.
“A perfect little gem.”
Tres chic apartment, quiet, yet so close to everything, including the best patisserie in Paris. Fab new bathroom and lovely quality linen, QS bed.
“Location, location, location”
The title says it all. We couldn't be happier with the location of this apartment. It is right in the heart of St.Germain, only steps from everything, including metros, cafes, shopping, heart of Paris! Even though it was in the center of everything the apartment was surprisingly quiet. The apartment itself was nicely decorated, with an updated bathroom and kitchen. It is definitely on the small side (but most Parisian apts are). The only fault I had with the place was that there was no natural light. The windows overlook a tiny courtyard (where the garbage is housed) so you really couldn't tell if it was a nice day out or not. Having said that our overall experience working with the landlord from booking, to checking in and follow up has been great! The detailed instruction on how to use everything (even getting into the building) were much appreciated! If this is your first trip to Paris, I would reccommend staying here.
“Go Parisian, live the dream and stay here.”
This is where you want to be, the heart of the left bank culture. It is your Parisian home. Everything was as describbed. The cable can be fun but the place was everything we wanted. highly recommend.
“Charming apartment - Perfect Location”
My wife and I found the apartment to be perfect for us. While small by N. American standards, it is well designed and comfortable. Immaculate, everything works as advertised. Quiet, nicely equipped kitchen, comfortable living/dining room, free telephone service to Canada/us landlines. We found this to be a much better arrangement than a typical small Paris hotel. And best of all was the location, close to museums, galleries, and the metro. Highly recommend this apartment for a couple.
