Description

The property is completely embraced by the intimate forested hills that form the the unique region of Haloze. Built into the hillside with spectacular views all around, offers an intimate experience of Haloze and its inhabitants. This small Slovenian gem is as yet undiscovered and virtually unspoilt. The hills are dotted with small vineyards and ancient forests giving it an intoxicating loveliness that you will find hard to forget. There is a gentle deception of complete isolation but no more than 10 minutes by car brings you to the village of Podlehnik and the main road for either Croatia, Austria, Hungary or the capital Ljubljana, Ptuj, Maribor, Koper and Trieste.

Ideal for people who love walking cycling or hiking, Or perhaps you just want to relax and soak up the beautiful views and listen to the sound of nature.

The first floor; living room and kitchen are open plan. The living space has a sofa bed, two comfortable arm chairs, coffee table, radio/CD player and a DVD player with screen and selection of DVDs

A fitted kitchen area with combined electric/gas cooker, hot and cold water, fridge, extractor, work surface, table and chairs.

There is a shower room plus sink and bidet all with hot and cold water. Separate WC. A small utility room with washing machine and clothes dryer.

In the lower floor there is two bedrooms. First bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, lamps, chest of draws, wardrobe.. The second bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables and wardrobe. One bathroom with a shower, washbasin with WC.

The entrance to the lower level is via an external staircase. There is a approx. 500m gravel road from the asphalt to the entrance of Lavender house.

We are pet friendly and we can supply pet beds, pet blankets, food and water bowl.

Haloze is an endlessly green kingdom of serenity and beauty with a landscape of fairytale castles, ancient woodlands, divine wines with special people,seemingly possessing a soul which never leave visitors indifferent. The hiking paths in the region offer ideal conditions for walking in the natural environment and among kind people

On foot or by bike. Whichever option you choose you cannot choose wrong. Haloze was made for wandering on her slopes, hills and valleys slowly on foot or slightly faster and with more effort by pedalling a bike. Many tourist farms and wine shops are located along these routes. Some of them offer tasting and enjoyment of home made specialities, from bread and meat, from tünka to wine, cheese and much, much more.
