“Once in a lifetime experience!”
Italy was amazing! Don't miss AlPresidente in Trevi. Must say that what made the experience really amazing was Marida!! Ten star service. Her suggestions, recommendations and ideas made this trip unforgettable. Once we got there, all of our plans and ideas went out the window and we followed all of her advice; it was an experience we will never forget...all thanks to Marida! Better be compensating her well for her excellent contribution to your amazing organization! It will be at the top of our list forever!!!
“Perfect stay for couples in a cool neighbourhood”
It was a pleasure to stay in this apartment right from the moment Leonora met us to the day we left. The apartment is one in a private and secure complex and finished to a high standard with all the facilities you would need for short to medium stays. Access to the metro is at the bottom of the street and you are one stop from the railway station so very handy but tucked out of the way.
“Wonderful Prpoperty-Wonderful Host”
Marida, as before, our stay in the flat was a joy. To add to it, you were very helpful with suggestions and especially getting our laundry done. After sharing pictures and notes about it on facebook, my cousin, who is living in Pontelandolfo, wanted your info, which I forwarded to her. Her name is Midge Guerrera and her email is: email@example.com You might contact her. She wants to come to Rome and needs an apartment. I have a few suggestions. 1) A light over the dinner table, 2) An easy chair, 3) A broom and dustpan so we could sweep the floor.
“Well-equipped, beautiful apartment in Rome's most trendy neighborhood”
Stayed in the Ciancaleoni Flat in July 2014. The apartment's host Marida was extremely welcoming and responsive, both before, after and during the stay. Location of the flat is wonderful, just steps away from metro station Cavour and around the corner from great bars, restaurants and shops in the trendy Monti area. Also very close to the archaeological sites of the Colosseum and Forum. Inside, the apartment was very well-maintained and equipped, including a small kitchen. The building is gorgeous with a small romantic patio, and the flat has a beautiful terrace to drink your daily sundowner. All in all a highly recommended place.
“A flat well located but with additional fees (cleaning, late checkin) and no extra services (luggage keeping)”
We found this flat on Booking.com and looked really great and cheap. After the booking, we've read that there are some additional fees like cleaning (50€) and late checkin (25€) making this flat not so cheap. These additional costs where written in the description page but we didn't take the time to look at it carefully, we should have ! Marida, the owner, was really communicative and helpful before our arrival. She asked us to advise her when we will be in the taxi to reach her flat, what we did. Once arrived, no one was here, we wrote to Marida and said that a person is waiting in the front of the building but there is anybody. She showed up 15 minutes later and explained us that she was waiting at the beginning of the street, not in front of the building, and as we walked in by the other entrance of the street, she didn't see us. She was really helpful and explained us all functionalities of the flat. But, we kindly ask her if she can keep our luggages once we will have check out as our flight was in the afternoon. She cannot kept our luggages as no flat were available that to day to let them inside and proposed us to put them in a locker in Termini train station for 5€ a day... Thankfully, we found ourselves a solution. Furthermore, the AC was out of order when we headed back to the flat the day after checking in, we texted Marida but without response...
Response from the owner Dear Roman, Thank you for your review and advice, it helps us to improve our service. We are glad you and your girlfriend found CIANCALEONI FLAT a comfortable accommodation. NOSTROMONDO® Staff is also grateful for the appreciation you showed for our service. Nevertheless, we’re sorry you experienced some issues with the air conditioner, however you notified us right the morning you left. I did reply to your message, notifying you that I would have checked the device later in the morning and once I got to the apartment, everything worked fine. All our previous Guests totally complimented us and cooler was never a problem. Anyway, your advice will be used promptly to check the device each week, as we usually do. Regarding the extra fees you paid, they were mentioned both in the email sent as confirmation and in the page through which you made the reservation, that 50 Euro (final cleaning) + 2 Euro per night per person (as tourism Taxes) are excluded from the total amount you paid. So you were aware abou the supplements. And I did also send you a confirmation email notifying you the extra costs together with the rental policy referring to the late check in fee. On this regard, I’d like to clarify that the additional fee (20€) for late check in due to the fact that a member of our Staff has to welcome you after 9 pm, since a reception is not available in Rental Properties. Furthermore, following the directions we supply by our Map, the easiest way to reach the apartment is from Via Panisperna (and not from the Ciancaleoni steps), this is why the Staff was waiting for you from the other side of the street: she was taking care to let you safely reach the apartment . Unfortunately, you did take the other side, so my colleague just needed time (3 minutes) to get to the door of the building to welcome you. Concerning the luggage deposit, I never told you that the apartment itself was supplied with it. We usually take care to store the bags if the apartment is avaiable, alternatively, as per our policy you signed, latest check out is available at 11 am, since from that time we start manage cleanings and reset to welcome next Clients. Since Customer Satisfaction is the pillar of NOSTROMONDO® philosophy , we hope to host you again, and we’re sure you will fully enjoy your next stay as all our Guests usually do.
We spent a few days during past easter. Our stay was very exciting, and the apartment really fantastic.
“Great outdoor terrace”
An additional mirror is crucial. There is only one mirror, above the sink in the bathroom. This makes it very difficult for two people to get ready simultaneously.
The Staff is as good as the property and the Property is awesome!!! Everything I asked for they were there to help. The property was well maintained, the Wi-fi was fast. Everyone spoke great english!!!
Response from the owner Dear Drew, Thank you very much for having stayed with us just recently and for sharing your opinion. What I appreciate the most is your kind words of our friendly and helpful staff, which I definitely share with our teams, for further motivation and inspiration. Sincerely, Marida NOSTROMONDO Staff
“Great, comfortable, convienient location in Rome.”
The flat was great. Perfect location, close to the Coliseum, Ancient Rome and the subway was 1 block away, for longer trips across town. The private terrace was a great place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store all very close by. Marida was very helpful (and easy to look at). She was ready to assist us with anything we needed. She arranged everything to perfection and all went exactly as promised. She met us at the flat, when we arrived (in the limo she arranged to pick us up at the airport) and explained the amenities of the flat to us in detail. The shower was small, but apparently the normal size for Italy as the rest of our trip's accommodations had equally small showers. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Rome. Marida will take great care of you and go out of her way to make your stay enjoyable.
Response from the owner Dear Don, Thank you for your choice of the CIANCALEONI FLAT and for your time devoted to share such an enthusiastic opinion with other users. I can only be happy and proud to have met your expectations. Hopefully I can host you once again whenever you will find yourself in Rome. With the kindest regards, Marida NOSTROMONDO Staff
My partner and I stayed here recently, we found the staff amazing, there was nothing they could not do for us. The apartment was well equipped with everything one needs, a little terrace outside that we spent many hours after long days sight seeing. Its close to everything you want, in fact we walked everywhere from this lovely little flat. There is a wonderful cocktail bar called the bohemian which is great in fact all the restaurants we visited were in walking distance. I would highly recommend this apartment to any couple wanting a fantastic stay in rome with amenities on your door step.
Response from the owner Dear Trisho thank you for the excellent review you left. I am extremely happy to read that your experience with our FLAT, Staff and location were only positive. I hope to host you once again, in near future. Sincerely, Marida NOSTROMONDO Staff
