“Best House in San Juan”

Reviewed 17 Feb 2015

Villa Noche is truly a once-in-a-lifetime vacation rental. The home is located above the majestic Pacific Ocean with a 270 degree view of the ocean, bay, town, and mountains. The sunsets are amazing. The 3 person staff is attentive, courteous, professional, and even speak English. The house is very clean and must have an attentive owner because it is well maintained. I enjoyed fishing on the boat, the Aquaholic, with my 10 year old son. The minimal price was well worth the two giant sailfish and countless mahi-mahis we caught. The house staff did a magnificent job of preparing our fish for dinner, and I can't even begin to describe how proud my son was to let his mom and sister eat "his fish." Of course, the surf at nearby beaches was perfect for all ages. It was quite large a bit off the beach, but then it was also perfect for younger children just off the beach. We never felt afraid or unsafe during our time at Villa Noche and hope to return soon--watch out mahis!

“Breathtaking views- an amazing trip”

Reviewed 13 Feb 2015

I stayed at Villa Noche with my family in Novmber. The pictures do not do this house justice! Everything about this house his house exceeded our expectations. The staff, Memo, Claudia and Jose greeted us warmly and were there to answer any questions, run small errands, clean, cook and best of all entertained our 6 year old endlessly. We woke up to fresh juice, fruits and pancakes and would end our days with fresh fish, lobster or cerviche. The pool was a total pleasure, and sunsets were incomparable from the vlila. I'm already daydreaming of next visit. Thanks for everything.

“Beautiful Villa Noche”

Reviewed 15 Jan 2014

It was a treat to stay at beautiful Villa Noche once again. Instead of being by ourselves there were 4 adults and 5 grandchildren. Even with this number of people and all the ensuing activity the place is large enough and designed so well that you could always find a private spot - in the house or even in the pool which is elongated. This is particularly so for myself who is allergic to the sun and heat and found that at any time of day it was comfortable with the design enabling comfort of being in the shade and with fresh air and privacy., always with the spectacular view in sight. The kids enjoyed working at the large table (although the prospect of doing homework was not always exciting) and having access to the staff to cook clean and do errands allowed us to be free of responsibilities and to relax. We also had transportation and a driver and there was sometimes a lot of coming and going but never a snag in the plans. If we wanted certain types of food (for example fish just caught that morning) it was picked up at a very reasonable price from the market and prepared that night. My husband revels in getting to sit in big chairs and at large tables - although he is not as tall as the owner who designed the place to accommodate his NBa size - which he can't get in his regular travels with planes, restaurants and offices. It is a treat for him and although I am a foot shorter than him it never was anything but relaxing for me. Travis - it was a treat to stay at Villa Noche and we hope to do it again soon!

“Breathtaking Birthday to Me!!!!”

Reviewed 27 Jun 2010

You can't beat a birthday that includes the view from Villa Noche, so spectacular to wake up to, and sunsets you can lose yourself in forever. The house is so comfy you may never venture beyond the gate, or out of the big chairs, and you don’t have to, because the adorable Memo and Armondo will see to everything you need. If you are up for exploring, the charming village of San Juan del Sur is just minutes down the hill with yummy restaurants, fun nightlife, and new friends to meet. After a day out on the surf, retreating to Noche to lounge around the pool with cocktails and dinner is heavenly. The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been my friends singing Happy Birthday a little less off key. Thank you Travis for your fabulous house, can’t wait to be back again.

“Beautiful House, Beautiful View!!”

Reviewed 24 Jun 2010

I have made plans to stay at Villa Noche for the past two summers. I love San Juan Del Sur and the people who live there. I plan on going back many, many more times in the upcoming years. Villa Noche is an absolutely beautiful house with everything you could ask for. It has a great infinity pool (where I spent most of my time), great rooms and just a great vibe all around. Each room has its own bathroom so you never have to share with anybody! The master bedroom is to die for and the bathroom in there is great!! The staff here is unbelievable. They will do anything to accommodate you and are always smiling and happy. If you are not interested in visiting town, the personal chef can make whatever you want for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff can also get you whatever you need if you want to make all of your own meals. All in all this house is my little bit of paradise. I would visit every couple of months if I was able. I strongly recommend it to anybody planning on traveling to San Juan del Sur!!

“Most amazing vacation!”

Reviewed 24 Jun 2010

Villa Noche was even prettier than the website had depicted. It was a secret paradise that I did not want to leave. I will definitely be vacationing here again. The staff is top notch. They are friendly and make sure that your every need is taken care of immediately. The view is unbelievable. This is the perfect place to vacation with your friends, family, or husband or wife. It is by far the best vacation rental experience I have ever had.

“Villa Noche, San Juan Del Sur- Fantastic!”

Reviewed 15 Jun 2010

This is one of the few places i have stayed that turned out to be even better than advertised. Winding staircases, three full bedrooms and baths, a full kitchen and dining room, an eternity pool…… you can see the ocean from almost every room. High-speed wireless internet was all throughout the house and it worked (fast!). There was also a complimentary Vonage phone that allowed us to make and receive calls easily (dialing a us number was just like dialing it from the us) making it super easy for me to keep up with work. Even better than the beauty and amenities of the house was the staff--- Claudia, Memo and armando. We woke up every morning to armando making fresh coffee and squeezing us mango juice--- and his banana pancakes? Incredible! After a day of fishing they would cook up our catch and we would eat pool side while watching the sunset. Claudia kept the house immaculate and even did our laundry. On top of all of this they also managed to keep my toddler endlessly entertained – showing her the birds, lizards and flowers in the garden- Armando even built her a little make shift kiddy pool on the side of the eternity pool. By my third day there I felt comfortable enough to let Claudia babysit while we went into town for dinner a few nights. We felt safe (and spoiled!) the entire week. This was pure luxury for a shockingly reasonable price. I cried when we left and I’m counting the days until we can take a trip back

“Birthday fishing trip”

Reviewed 14 Jun 2010

I made my way down to San Juan Del Sur for a fishing trip with my brother. I wasn't sure what to expect but would have been happy with a hostel. Instead my brother booked this house high on a cliff with a pool. It was great. The guy that cares for the house met up with us in town so we could follow him up the back roads to the house. He was very helpful through out our trip including lunch and beers for the fishing trip. He cooked the fish that we did manage to catch for dinner and the best thing was driving us home after a few crazy nights down in town. It was nice to have a staff that really looked out for you.
