“Beautiful view”

Reviewed 14 Jun 2015

Great, incredible view. Wonderful comfortable beds. Great having a hot tub right there!! We had never been to the smokies before and were very pleased with our choice. I loved being able to have our dogs with us.

“what a view!”

Everything was true as advertised. We were all comfortable in the lovely home. I would have preferred to have additional garbage bags; one was not nearly enough. Some of the slats on the deck were cracked so I felt uneasy all of us being on the deck at one time.

“A beautiful, cozy cabin, with one of the best views around.”

I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to have a great vacation with a beautiful and relaxing experience in the mountains. The view from the back deck Is truly breathtaking. The pictures don't do it justice. The bedrooms are spacious and equipped with very comfortae beds and tv's. It would be great for both large groups as well as a couple's vacation. It is close to everything including the national parks and the town of gatlinburg. We had eight people, and the cabin never felt crowded. I highly recommend Mt Leconte Vista. I will definitely be visiting again.

“Excellent views, Excellent location, Excellent vacation!!”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2014

We stayed for a week from July 5 thru July 12 and must say that the pictures and previous reviews were very reflective of the home. We had an excellent time staying at Mt. LeConte Vista. The unit was clean and stocked well. It was a short drive down the mountain to downtown Gatlinburg as well as the Smoky Mountain Park entrance. Less than 15 minutes, although only a few miles really. Easily accessible also was the by-pass taking you back to Pigeon Forge for those trips into that area which also was a short drive away. We enjoyed several restaurants (some suggested by the owners) such as Best Italian Pizza, and Dick's Last Resort (fun sarcastic waiters/waitress) and the Old Mill Restaurant in Pigeon Forge. i would recommend this unit for extended families (4 BR, 2.5 bath), with or without children, or vacationing couples. You are almost at the highest point overlooking OberGatlinburg Ski area and you can see the downtown lights of Gatlinburg as well. We even had some visiting bears that were seen late one evening.

“Oh Wow!”

Thanks for sharing this jewel with my family. We enjoyed watching the people skiing at Ober Gatlinburg, the tram on it's way back and forth, but mostly enjoyed the view of the smokey mountains. Wow! Everything was clean and neat upon arrival. Everything you could possibly need to prepare meals is there. Thanks for providing wood for the fire place (which is a treat to sit near when it's 19 degrees outside). Perfect trip because of you. Wonderful hosts! Thank you for giving such detailed directions and being so kind to work with. We'll be back.

“Our Thanksgiving stay with our kids and grandkids was perfect”

The cabin is clean and cozy. We ran out of wood because of the snow and cold weather,Val had wood delivered before we were totally out.The view is great and the different levels of the home let us have privacy when we needed it.Our favorite thing about the cabin was the fireplace, We will stay again

“Wonderful”

This was the nicest cabin we have ever stayed at and it is truly set up for relaxation and enjoyment. The views are magnificent from every window. It is close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so whichever way you want to go your are set. The beds are also very comfortable and the hot tub usable in October as it is partially enclosed. It was great!! I think it was the most relaxing vacation I've ever had and we spent a lot of time just enjoying the cabin. Definite winner!!!

“Safe, Serene, & Scenic”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2013

I just returned from my 5-night stay at Mt. LeConte and couldn't be more pleased. The descriptions and pictures are right on the money, so I felt immediately at home when I arrived. The chalet is clean, comfortable, airy, and safe. Being a young woman traveling alone, feeling safe and secure was a huge factor for me in deciding where to stay. I loved the keyless entry. Never having to worry about getting locked out added peace of mind. Locking up the chalet was easy at night. And while it might seem trivial, the flat parking in front was a great added feature. It made load in/out and entry/exit extremely fast and easy. The views were unbelievable. There is nothing quite like waking up to the sun peeking up over the mountains. If you're looking for a place with impeccable views, this is your winner. There are properties relatively close on either side, but if I didn't know that, I wouldn't have been able to tell. I never heard or saw anyone, and the chalet could not have been more quiet. I felt like I was on a mountain by myself (yet safe, because I wasn't). Best of both worlds! Kitchen is stocked. Bathrooms are clean. Beds are comfy. I had cable, internet, and as much mountain air as my little lungs could handle. Most importantly, the owners are informative, accommodating, and honest. So easy and pleasant to work with. Again, traveling alone, I was extremely grateful for the communication before my trip. I had info for the best restaurants and nearest grocery stores, traveling tips for easy navigation, and a detailed list of what is/is not provided. It helped me pack up everything I needed for the week. I wouldn't have needed to leave if I didn't want to! All in all, it was an amazing and much needed getaway. Thanks, Val and Renee' for sharing your beautiful mountains with me! :) Hope to stay with you again soon!

“Extrodinary Views”

Reviewed 29 May 2013

Excellent location for relaxing. High up in the hills above town but only a 15 minute drive to the city center. Condo was very clean and the owners had provided everything from charcoal for the grill to a local grocery savings card.

“Great location!!”

We loved the view from this property!! It was easy to access downtown, Ober Gatlinburg, and the Smoky Mtn National Park without having to get trapped in the downtown traffic. We went during spring break- so I don't know if the traffic is always that bad. We loved the enclosed hot tub- what a view! There was plenty of room for the 7 of us ( 4 adults and 3 kids).
