““Beautiful Home for a Fantastic Vacation Getaway!””
My husband found this location online and stayed with some golfing friends a few years ago. Due to their wonderful experience, we decided to book the Rose Cottage for our family spring break vacation. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed with the location, the home and the property. The home is beautifully decorated and has all the necessary amenities for a true "home away from home" experience. We took advantage of the hot tub and fire pit each day and night. We also spent many hours playing with our 9 year old in the backyard. And, being able to do laundry before returning home was truly the icing on the cake! The close proximity to the interstate/main roads made it very easy to travel to local attractions. We look forward to returning in the future and being able to enjoy this place again and again. We highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Asheville or surrounding area.
“Very cozy, warm and comfortable place to stay”
The Rose Cottage is a beautiful home for the perfect get away. We stayed 7 days and loved the amenities of the home and enjoyed having the horses next door. Only 20 minutes from Biltmore and other main attractions. We visited asheville several times and Henersonville is a beautiful small town. Loved the shopping and dining there. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Stephanie for sharing your beautiful home with us.
“Extremely Comfortable, Fully Stocked Home!”
We had a very nice time in this rental house. In fact, it is probably the best Vrbo experience we have ever had (and we've rented quite a few Vrbo houses). Everything was very clean and high quality, and they really did have everything and anything you could possibly think of needing. We were very impressed with the level of detail that went into furnishing this house and the costumer service was excellent as well. For background, we are a family of five- 2 adults and 3 young children and we fit very comfortably in this house. The kids absolutely loved the pool and hot tub and swam nearly every day we were there (despite the fact that the pool was rather chilly by mid-October!). The rest of the yard was also a huge hit for my family and we spent quite a few mornings and evenings playing back there! Very pleasant and relaxing. Our only complaint was that the location was not only not in asheville, but this property isn't even all that close to asheville. It is a solid 30 minute drive by freeway to asheville. The house is actually located near the town of Hendersonville (which is actually even in a different county than asheville). I had been hoping to be a lot closer to asheville, but not being from the area, I didn't realize just how far away this really was. That said, in the end we weren't all that impressed with asheville (way too large of a city for us), but quite liked the town of Hendersonville. So the location worked out just fine for us in the end. But if you really need/want to be in/near asheville, you may be disappointed with the location.
“An Enjoyable Stay”
My wife and I come to asheville to see our son and rented the Rose Cottage with this is mind. The house is very charming and well-appointed for a rental. The hot tub and pool are nice perks. Everything was in order. The downside for us was the out of the way location,20 to 25 minutes from asheville. Nevertheless, it was a very enjoyable stay, quiet and comfortable.
My family loved our stay at the Rose Cottage. We've stayed in many rental homes over the years, and this one was by far the most equipped to deliver on every need we could've had. From the pool to the hot tub to the stacks of movies and games --- It had it all. The location is perfect as a central hub to explore asheville.
We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful peaceful little cottage at the end of the road! Everything was perfect and we especially loved our visits from the horses!! This is a wonderful place to stay and close to all of the sights. Can't wait to go back!!
“Good family rental”
My 2 kids and husband spent a week at this home and it worked out very well. We loved having toys and books for the kids, the large yard, hot tub, and friendly horses next door. I would recommend this house, especially for families with young kids.
“Wonderful family fun.”
We thoroughly enjoyed your cottage. It was so well equipped and the furnishings were wonderful. Our grandchildren loved feeding the horses, the playground equipment, 4 tv's, and all the outdoor games. The fireplace felt so nice and warm and inviting. So many games, and movies to enjoy. The hot tub was terrific. Hope we can return and use the pool when the weather gets warm again. It was also so nice that we could bring our dog with us. Hendersonville is a nice little quaint town. We enjoyed our time there. Our daughter lives in asheville, so it was easy for her to go back and forth from her house to our little (not so little)cottage. Thank you again.
“rock star stay at the Rose Cottage...”
My hubby and I needed a place to stay that felt like home during the recent Moogfest (music festival) in nearby asheville. It was nice to be at the cottage within a few minutes of the airport and even nicer to see that I had made a great choice for our family. At the end of an unassuming street lays this lovely cottage. Complete with plenty of comfy beds, a crib, plush towels, a swingset for my little girl, horses outside, a hot tub, and more. We were able to relax, felt right at home, and make our own meals as well. If there were any question, Stephanie was easily accessible via telephone. And the keyless entry made it hassle-free. My parents even joined us for a couple of nights and the dog pen outside was an added surprise for the dogs. Highly recommended! M.E., Dave, and Bonnie-Blue from la.
“A perfect getaway experience!”
Three generations (my 93 year old mother, daughter and I) stayed at the Rose Cottage. I chose this property because my mother can't handle steps, and this is one floor. There was not a single time when we didn't have everything we could need or want right there. This home was comfortable and roomy, and very well appointed. The owners were available in the event of a problem, and it was obvious that they wanted to act on any problem that might crop up. None did. We were close enough to enjoy DuPont State Forest and Chimney Rock. If there is a geocacher in the family, there are plenty of caches in the area. Downtown Hendersonville was such a pleasure that we decided to forego our visits to asheville. I can't think of one negative thing about this property.
