“Lovely Place”

Reviewed 25 Oct 2012

The owner speaks excellent english, and made us a lovely breakfast and had very good house wine. Amazing garden in the back. The town is very cool and old, but very small. So this is the kind of place for relaxing or biking / trekking, exploring the countryside and nearby towns, not really for people who needs tons of restaurants and touristy activities. Upstairs bathroom is shared but super nice and huge.

“Oasis in Italy”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2012

My daughter and I spent a month touring Italy and stayed at Janine's lovely home in Rippabatonni one weekend, so as to discover my ancestors hometown. Such a pleasant change from the busy tourist areas. Here you get to experience what Italy is really about. Janine's home is wonderful, relaxing and has the most picturesque views ever... A beautiful place to visit. Janine is a special hostess, her meals are wonderful and her friendship even more enjoyable. Thanks to Janine's help I was also able to communicate with some long lost relatives. We will be back some day!!

“Wow, what a place! My new favorite in Italy”

Reviewed 9 Jan 2012

This is a really great place to stay. No other tourists were there during my stay in late July and I felt as though I was seeing Italy as few tourists do. After enjoying time in Rome and Florence my experience in Ripabottoni was a huge shift. It was serene and relaxed, just what I needed even though I didn't realize I needed it at the time. Art & Breakfast is a beautiful place and the backyard is outstanding. The owner, Janine is incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have to mention the shower too, best in Italy. It was hot and powerful unlike the showers at any of the other places I stayed. I'm coming back with my sisters and their families in two years.

“elegant hospitality”

spent a lovely week here doing sculpture course and staying in the art and breakfast. The food was great, de garden too and Janine's elegant hospitality added just that extra spice. Great place!

“Autentiek genieten”

Reviewed 15 Aug 2011

Jelle.

“Wonderful hospitality!”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2011

Our time in Ripabottoni with Janine was splendid. We enjoyed the beautiful accommodations -- everything was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with Janine's unique flair. In addition to the excellent breakfasts that came with the room, we asked Janine to prepare dinners for us as well. The food was splendid and the hospitality was truly unbelievable. Janine is a fabulous host and a kind person. Ripabottoni is so very peaceful -- staying at art & Breakfast made our visit to this beautiful part of Italy even more wonderful.

“Our stay was magical in this undiscovered region of Italy”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2011

Our entire visit was wonderful from start to finish. My husband and I went with my nephew just home from afghanistan and his wife. Janine is a great host and she made certain our visit was memorable. The sleeping rooms are large and individually decorated. The garden is lovely and we had all our breakfasts in the sunny outdoors. This is a good location for day trips to the adriatic or the mountains. We look forward to our return.

“Authentic Italian stay in Ripabottoni at the art and Breakfast”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2011

I realy enjoyed my stay in the art and Breakfast. Rooms are very tasteful decorated and each one has it's own look and feel. Also the garden is very nice and good place to spent the evening with a good class of wine. Ripabottoni is a real authentic Italian village in the middle of a lot a nature and close by the sea with nice beaches. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone.
