Very Good

“Misrepresented, low quality, bad beds, no wi-fi”

Condo is not ski-in, ski-out, is not on golf course, is not in Winter Park but in Fraser, does not have Queen beds but full beds, and does not have in-room wi-fi. I would not have stayed at this property if I knew its actual location and amenities. Received one of two nights refund and still over priced.

Response from the manager We do appreciate and respect the guest's comments regarding our rental property, Winter Park Meadows Lodge - C3. This guest booked through a 3rd party vendor and at the time the reservation was made neither our company nor the outside vendor were aware of a software system malfunction. The malfunction distorted the unit features on the vendor's end. We are working with the vendor to clear up the situation and a refund was provided to the guest. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to serve the customer again.

“Needs a good scrubbing”

The property management company gave us poor directions. After driving around behind the Safeway in Fraser for 20 minutes, we finally stumbled upon the complex and the unit. The directions provided were "Follow the road behind safeway, take your first left, take your first right.." There were no street signs, there was plenty of snow on the ground, it was dark and it was difficult to see. A map would have been very helpful. Secondly, we got into the unit and it seemed clean, definitely outdated, but that does not typically bother us. I planned on taking a shower, and there was hair everywhere. On the floor, on the toilet, on the "clean" towels, in the tub... it was very off-putting. After getting over the dirty bathroom, we were able to use the kitchen nicely to make dinner, with the exception of the toaster oven being completely broken. Then, as we got into bed, we noticed an unpleasant stain on the red comforter. I cannot confirm what it was, but it's something you would not want to see in a bed. The bed was tucked away in a corner and it was not accessible to get in and out. We had to crawl from the foot of the bed to get in. Overall, I would never stay here again. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and none have been as bad as this one. I feel as though you should step into a place and it seem like it's never been stayed in before, and for this place, it was not the case.

Response from the manager We do appreciate and respect the guest’s comments regarding our rental property, Winter Park Meadows Lodge – C3. Because of the busy time of year and several last minute bookings, this property was obviously not cleaned to the guest’s or our standards. Nor was the property properly inspected before the arrival. In this case, our staff did not meet the operating and quality standards that are a normal and everyday part of our operations. Our staff has been made fully aware that this situation occurred. We apologize to the guest that this situation was allowed. We will be contacting the guest directly.

“Convenient, basic accommodations for a small party who intend t”

The small kitchen area is well designed with enough cooking equipment provided for guests to easily prepare a meal after shopping at the grocery store located just behind the property. The bathroom was clean and spacious given the studio set-up of the unit. The layout of the space was nice but made access to the double bed limited on one side. This unit delivered almost exactly what was expected from the listing and topped it off with a very convenient, easily accessible location.
