Directly at the Rhone river, this spacious flat offers access to the best places in Provence. Nearby you will find gourmet dining, fine wine tasting, hiking, river sports, barging and much more. Beaucaire is a "secret gem" town, full of history and lavish 15-19th century architecture and art. Explore Van Gogh country, visit the Pont du Gard, Avignon, Arles, St Remy, les Baux de Provence, Uzes and much more, all within a few minutes drive.

Fully furnished and renovated, 3 bedrooms, the apartment sleeps 6. There is a huge terrace with a table for 8 terrace facing the River Rhone, large living room, fully equipped kitchen/dining room (renovated in 2009), 1 full bathroom and an additional separate toilet. The terrace is partitioned into two sections. You have your own section with a large table that sits 8 people Home office with broadband and WIFI, computer, satellite TV with UK programs, washing machine, dishwasher, VCR, DVD, stereo, unlimited free worldwide telephone calls.

I've traveled to Europe and France many times but this time brought my family including my parents. We wanted to rent a place in a central location where we could walk around the city and get food at night, but also where we could check out the surrounding area by car. The apartment was fantastic and the check-in process was so easy. There are great meals to be had in this town, and many of Provence's top sites are within an hour driving distance. The only downside was that the town was littered more than the usual French town. But that is the town and not the rental. Nonetheless, I would definitely come back to Beaucaire for this apartment and its location. We enjoyed going to the market and the several bakeries that are nearby. In addition, we went to the restaurant on the water where we had fantastic mussels and salads for dinner.
