Our charming PET FRIENDLY Coquina Cottage sits right in the beach sand (no streets to cross) only steps to the Gulf of Mexico, on the award winning Captiva BEACH. The first thing you notice is the privacy of the property. You can't see any neighbors due to the immense fragrant foliage. Palm trees, sea grape and tropical flowers create a secret garden path that leads directly to the beach.

Mornings are perfect for a lazy breakfast with mimosas on the patio. Spend your days sea shell collecting, walking Fido on the beach, watching dolphins play in the surf and soaking up the balmy breezes. Evenings are magical with slow sunsets, stargazing in the hammock, a couple of glasses of wine watching the sunset from the upper suite balcony, or even a nighttime MOONLIGHT walk on the beach.

Our Coquina Cottage is completely comfortable and accommodating with many amenities: internet, free local and long distance calls, Cable HDTV, WiFi, Netflix. COZY studio suites (upstairs and downstairs) each 400 sq. ft.

Each suite sleeps 2 adults and 2 children under 12; each has a queen size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa. If more than 4 adults, please contact us first before booking.

Our Coquina Cottage offers a unique and very romantic setting.

- The upper suite is decorated in yellows and pinks with the most beautiful unobstructed views of the Gulf, beach and gardens. It has higher ceilings, an additional 200 sq. ft. of deck and a small kitchen with an electric BBQ on the deck.

- The lower suite is decorated in tones of sea glass blue. It has a full kitchen, laundry and a large ground level patio with electric BBQ. Lower suite is wheelchair accessible.

You'll find an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, high quality bedding, bath linens, beach towels, starter kit with dishwasher tablet, dish sponge and soap, paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, bar soap, shampoo and conditioner, and laundry detergent.

If shelling, body surfing, fishing, star gazing, paddle boarding, surfing and/or sunbathing is too tame for your memory book, take a 5 min. walk to Sanibel's Santiva Village or drive to Captiva's PICTURESQUE historical village for rental boats, sightseeing & shelling charters, sport fishing, parasailing, jet skiing, restaurants, shops and more. Sanibel's famous Ding Darling National WILDLIFE Refuge is less than 7 mins. drive.

We provide beach toys for the little ones, as well as boogie boards, beach umbrellas and we even have a collection of beach reads. We aim to go ABOVE AND BEYOND expectations, and 'continuous improvement' is our motto.

How do damage deposits work?

If Randy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
