“It couldn't of been better”

Reviewed 1 Mar 2015

Everything about Bron-nant was just what we wanted. A great welcome - with some lovely home made cake, - wonderfully quiet, plenty of room, great views with sunsets and sunrises, a comfortable and warm cottage with all the facilities; you can even lie in bed and watch the stars in the loft room. We wil be back if we can find a week that isn't booked already! Thansk to Jeremy and Ceinwen for making us so welcome.

“A truely magical place!”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2014

We chose to stay at Bron Nant having looked online and seen the wonderful photos and reviews. Having now stayed there we can say that the photos really don't do the place justice. It really is a bit of heaven on earth. The cottage inside is wonderful, all handcrafted woodwork by Jeremy the owner and the cleanliness and attention to detail is second to none. The beds are so comfy and the hot water seems endless. (So don't worry about the electric metre because the water and power showers are included) The outside is equally beautiful with breath-taking views a beautiful stream running through part of the large garden with a little bridge over it, another part of the garden enclosed and very safe for our dog to happily sunbathe. There's even a covered area with a swinging sofa in it.... and then there's the natural pool. We watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets and as for the stars... worth going to Bron Nant just to walk out the front door at night and look up! ... and then return in to the glorious log burner! It's a fabulous place to get away from it all and very dog friendly too! We can't wait for our return visit!

“Amazing”

This is an amazing place to stay would highly recommend this lovely cottage. This was the cleanest cottage we have ever rented and we have had self catering all over the UK, Ireland and the USA. Hope to go back again sometime.

“a little slice of paradise”

Truely a one off cottage in a unique location. Spectacular sunsets followed by starlit skies. Was amost tempted by the pool but not quite though others were. Everything you could want in the cottage & lovely hosts, unobtrusive & welcoming. The Ritz of holiday cottages. and I swore I was going to keep it my little secret as it took 18 months to get a booking! Doh!!

“Lovely Cottage, beautiful views”

Reviewed 7 May 2013

We have been to this accommodation once a year, three time in a row. It is a lovely warm cottage you will immediately feel at home in. The attention to detail is amazing - you will find everything you need for your self-catering stay. The beautiful surrounding views are therapeutic to say the least. We highly recommend this service.

“We felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door”

Reviewed 8 Apr 2013

Bron Nant had everything we needed for our break; plenty of kitchen equipment, cutlery, crockery, a warm fireplace, cosy bedrooms and plenty of peace and quiet. The cookies were delicious and the daffodils, ornaments and books around the cottage give it a very homely feel. The carpentry work around the house is phenomenal, every nook and cranny is put to good use and the window designs are reminiscent of a fairy tale cottage. We did several of the walks that Jeremy recommended and very much enjoyed the beautiful scenery and history of the area. We had such a good time at Bron Nant, it's no surprise that the cottage is very popular

“A perfect hideaway in the hills”

Reviewed 12 Feb 2013

I have just returned from a fantastic weekend in North Wales at Bron Nant. I have never stayed in a cosier or better equippped holiday cottage. Arriving in the dark on a Friday night in winter ahead of my group of friends, I encountered such a cosy warm house, it was an absolute joy. The owners had even gone to the trouble of leaving fresh flowers on the table and freshly baked cookies for each of us! The house has everything you could ever need for a holiday and my only sadness was that it wasn't warm enough (in February) to use the swingseats outside, or the natural pool! The house was warm, there was plenty of hot water and everything was spotlessly clean. Since it has been renovated by a carpenter it is full of wood and feels like a luxurious log cabin. The living room has an enormous woodburning stove and enough sofa and chairs to seat everyone comfortably. The owners couldn't have been more helpful or friendly and there is plenty to do in the area. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bron Nant and really hope to return, for long next time.

“What a Fantastic Cottage!”

Reviewed 30 Nov 2012

Bron Nant is a fantastic place. Not only is the cottage a superb place in which to relax and unwind, but it has been restored to a very high, tasteful standard. Truly home-from-home with every possible comfort and amenity. The views outside are stunning all through the year, especially on those winter mornings when clouds are trapped between the hills. Bron Nant is so quiet and peaceful with just the pleasant sound of the stream. Add to all this the Jeremy and Ceiwen welcome and one asks the question "Is this the best holiday cottage in the land?"

“Amazing Hideaway”

Reviewed 28 Oct 2012

This cottage is beautifully furnished, layed out and very well equipped. Situated on the hillside of the Machno valley it is peaceful and accessible. A very warm welcome was received from the McWilliam family and there is a comprehensive set of maps and guidance about the area and things you might like to do. Walks up the hill or into the forest are on the door step and lead to wonderful panoramic views of the mountains and valley. This is one of the best cottages we've stayed in.

“The Perfect Relax”

Reviewed 29 Apr 2012

Bron Nant is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. The cottage is exceptionally well finished and fitted with many thoughtful extras, and is beautifully decorated and clean. It is outstandingly well insulated and heated, so is cozy. The area is wonderful and rural with lots of walks and there are more than enough places of attraction in surrounding areas if the weather is not good. The proximity to Betws-y-coed was great for getting provisions, places to eat and more. The hosts Jeremy and Ceinwen are very helpful regarding information if/when you need it but do not intrude on ones feeling of peace and isolation in any way. We felt privileged at being able to stay in Bron Nant.
