“Faith Cottage is the lovliest of all the cottages we have stayed”
Faith Cottage was well equipped , beautifully furnished , immaculate and full of character features. The garden was pretty and surrounded by lovely countryside.Suffolk is a beautiful county with pretty coastline and lovely medieval villages. The owners of the cottage were so friendly and helpful and put in so much effort in ensuring that guests are comfortable and made welcome. We wouldn t hesitate to recommend Faith Cottage to anyone wishing to stay in a wonderful cottage in lovely and peaceful surroundings.
“Outstanding relaxing and homely cottage.”
The hosts are very welcoming on arrival and so are the little touches that they provide, especially the cream tea. The cottage is beautifully restored and very comfortable. Home from home. The cottage has ecellent facilities with all the equipment you would find in your home. The gardens are delightful. The cottage is situated for days out and about not far from a variety of attractions. All in all a fabulous place to have a realaxing stay.
“wonderful, friendly hosts couldnt ask for better”
The cottage was ideal, location, cleanliness, everything was top notch.
“Home from Home”
Not only did this look like the best cottage we had ever stayed in it was. The little touches added by the owners as well as their friendliness and kindness made it so. The cottage itself deserved the five stars it has got from us. It was beautiful, lacked nothing you could want and indeed immediately felt like a home not a holiday let. The location was good with access to Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. The area was very quiet and peaceful and the gardens of the cottage were kept beautifully and we enjoyed watchng and feeding the birds and the squirrels. We missed the deer unfortunately who we understand visit too but we did have a visit from the local rabbit population. All in all this cottage is highly recommended, unless of course, you are looking for wild nights out but for a country location it is ideal.
“excellent cottage and area”
It is a very nice cottage with very good quality furnishings. The owners live close by and are very nice people although they did not interfere. Quiet secluded area but plenty of places to visit within easy driving distance.
“The idyllic cottage”
Faith Cottage is a typically English thatched country cottage in a location ideal for exploring the Suffolk countryside and amenities and is convenient for visiting the university city of Cambridge. The welcome we received was more than we expected; we were made to feel more like friends than visitors. We intend to make a return visit.
“Olde worlde charm with all mod cons in a beautiful peaceful sett”
Our second visit to Faith Cottage with its thatched roof, beautiful peaceful garden and modern kitchen and bathroom which are scrupiously clean. The owners go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. You do have to take care going down the stairs as they are quite steep (a requirement of the building being listed). Pubs two miles away, supermarkets six miles, loads of farm shops in the area. Easy access to main roads for fast access to the Suffolk/Norfolk coast.
The cottage is beautiful, both with old beams and with a modern, large kitchen. It is a listed cottage, so the staircase to the first floor apparently could not be made less steep. Another handrail would have been nice, though, as I tripped down the stairs and twisted my ankle quite badly. However, we have recommended the cottage to some friends of ours
